You should build a PVC cradle with a handle for that beast. Save your back and a trip to the chiro! Pick it up like a whale on the ocean 😆 She was doin' the 'skippity doo da' but ran great! BG4L🚤💨
Big B has the big boat running sweet in the rough water in the wake of Debi with large mah batteries and the 52mm prop. Definitely need to experiment 🧪 with different prop strut depths and angle 📐.😊
Big B , you are cranking up my expectations , with this one ! I hope this boat does not let you down . It keeps wanting to fly up . Looking forward to see how you will balance it at much higher speeds . If this is all it does then $700 is a non starter for me . At $420 I can invest and upgrade . So far I am not sold on the 48 for reasons above . For me to start at $700 and upgrade , the boat has to hit the 100mph milestone . Let’s see what you can do . I have my eyes peeled !!
I personally feel like the 1100 or 1250kv would be a better match. But could be the esc doesn't handle that, or temps get to high or something like that... Hopefully they come with some good props from themselves so the less knowledgeable people can upgrade it. Stock i think its to slow for its size...
@@IRONCLADRCMr mad plays his cards close to his vest… he’s good! But he hides his props, batteries, interior areas. He’s sneaky, granted he can set up a boat …but doesn’t build anything and I bet he cheats from stock with batteries n may gets special”das boata paper thin das boata props. Listen to the rpm he gets, n angle of attack. Go gettem B
I have a friend running this prop on his ssw and a xlx2 esc. Not sure if it's esc or prop related, last time out boat ran great but today to just kept hitting lvc like pulling down to 15v when trying to get on throttle. Any thoughts. I know you have ran the xlx2 in other boats
@@IRONCLADRC was running 2 cnhl 9500 4s. Figured I'd ask and see if maybe I'm just overlooking something easy while I wait to castle to open. I could send the datalog if you want to look it over sometime
How long would boat last in salt water of course flushing it out coat everything WD 40 , we live on canal I should’ve been buying a real boat instead of Rc s 😂 thing is we have park pond’s locally but canal in backyard
Dude you should take the time and charge up your batteries and discharge them with your charger and also charge your big 4s at 10 amps it's what I would do so just saying
A 52mm prop wouldn't even move a gas boat, lol. Hardly gets some of my bigger FE boats on plane and is the smallest prop ABC offers in a 1/4" bore. Gas props are 70mm and up, lol.
Fly up?! It’s a wide light hull, in choppy windy conditions! Balance is CG, prop and strut angle- trial n error plus experience- you gotta do it on yer own. Bro it’s a 20 pound model going 60 mph in a chop, and he’s got it trimmed a little loose …I have well over 10 boats, 30 years playing with real boats n rc they all fit a niche…the super sonic ain’t that pretty or glamorous BUT, it’s a beefy basher that’s entertaining, n self righting is huge for me and it’s quick enough… But I have other boats to run… Shooting for 100 while it’s a rush n very cool. I like variety and value a good reliable goto all weather boat. $700.00 is not a lot of money for a budget.. if you dig speed, build a zippkit rigger! Shrimp is cool, I built a fe33, or look at Oxidean’s rtrrigger.. it’s a good value…if you got the $$$ I have a MHZ 138 mystic 54” , length is stability…and ability to span waves …big B knows his shit, and we are constantly learning 😀
