Glad to see you enjoying the TDC 2.0! On those two issues - sometimes the nubs can be slightly off spec. We aim to achieve a very precise fit on them and sometimes a few in the batch are off by a tiny bit. Usually we just offer to send a replacement. Regarding the drill bit - ouch. This is definitely not a normal occurance. We source them from Germany, albeit it's not a fancy drill bit since it's basically a single use part. I'm guessing that at the scale we're purchasing those drill bits, there just tends to be a few lemons. Regardless, we always supply any replacement for our customers for anyone curious! Cheers!

I had the same prolem with my kit, the nub was not getting upward and it stayed tiltet backward or blocked most of the time. I had to clean the nub hole from what it seemed to be machining debris. I had to use a sharp flat edge... after that the nub was dialing perfectly. I'm ordering another kit right know.

I installed some ASPUK parts into my vsr years ago, haven't been able to field it because the trigger needs to travel very far before hitting a strong wall. Any advice? ASPUK told me back then to file the trigger guard to make space but the required travel is so far that the guard needs to be removed :') Wanting to get this VSR field worthy this year, other trigger recommendations are welcome! I believe I have their piston and cylinder installed as well

Did you ever get the dreaded curve? I’ve got a slight right curve and can’t fix it. I’ve realigned everything, the barrels straight with spacers etc, AA hop chamber with the two grub screws to keep the barrel tight, Tridos TDC. Autobot hop rubber with panthera nub. I’ve just had the bubble rail delivered and everything’s aimed straight to no avail. I could cry considering including the RIF I’ve spent about £700 😅

I finally figured out the issue! The black nub that came with the Tridos is fractionally too large on one side, so much so you can barely see it. I swapped it out for the silver nub and it’s now going solid. Can’t wait for the next game!

I know my comment is a bit late but i'm hoping it's a quick/simple answer. The spring guide with the WASP kit is apparently 13mm however measuring it with calipers reveals that it's actually 9mm. Is it simply called a 13mm spring guide because the OUTER diameter of the springs are 13mm where the inner diameter is 9mm? Ty.

Im still rockin my aspuk sniper one parts vsr , thing has been battered its done so many games had it 7 years , had to replace the stock as snapped it in half 1 too many falls

I find that the Flamingo bucking doesn't seal properly (airseal isn't 100 % like it is with the ML autobot!). What do you think of the modify X range buckings? Also, do you have experience with barrel diameters (which one would be best for the setup). Great video! Most of the 'the more you know tips' i already found out the hard way sadly hahaha

If your ever able too, I'd suggest an airpad from the states. There harder to find these days but there laser cut and made of something much different than sorbo padsthink? They are alot better dampening and iv had one under an m170 for probs 4 or 5 years with no deformation now.

I practically have the same setup as you atm: what i notice though is that the rifle performs accurately up to 50 m...then the bbs start to curve off into random directions. Shooting at 2.3 J so I should easily get 70m shots...

one problem most dont get with the term tdc is it doesnt need the screw on top. it makes it way easier but look on the new hicapa hops and the cz shadow 2 or the maple leaf g19x (that one isnt a true tdc). mostly it means that it gives firm and even hop from the top, but help with the adjustment on top

Great tip with the string on the mag to help get it out! Always a pain trying to switch mags with gloves on. Really interesting video

You can drill a hole in the back of the mag and install a screw than you can pull out the mags out easily

I just taped 2 pieces of ducttape to the sides and then pressed them together...same principle, just easier, safer and not something permanent. Also...you should take off the tips of the glove (index, thumb and middle): don't take the whole thing off, just make an incision on the palmar side of the glove...then depending on the situation you can keep the glove fully on or poke your finger out.

I can't say for sure as I've never used that spring but I would recommend upgrading them to future proof the setup.

Have you compared Flamingo to Decepticon 60 2021? I too use ML CJ and Tridos TDC with nub and found it gave better results than flamingo (with this specific setup, flamingo is a great bucking nonetheless, but I found the horizontal deviation less)
