Bigger brushed motor is way better for drifting!! Cool video!!! I always love brushless too! But as far as drifting controlably for this car in particularly this car..i think an upgraged brushed motor is the way to go an a better batter! Then u can drift controlably at the second setting with good speed, and also have fun at high speeds if u turn the remotel up to 3!
You are right. I prefer using bigger motor as it has more torque at low speed compared to smaller motor. The rest, one just needs more practices to perfect the drifting lines.
Dear Sir, Thanks for the nice video. I have the same question as another viewer. I bought the sg1605, which I will receive in the coming days. It's also regarding the spur gear in plastic. We can purchase a metal gear for the engine, metal differentials. So as a result we have everything in metal, but still a plastic gear in-between, which makes no sense to me. And what about the drive shaft (I can't find anything about it)? Is it plastic or metal and can we buy it as spare-parts? Do you have perhaps an email address from the factory, where I can get some information? Many thanks and best regards.
As far as I know, all parts are upgradable to metal except the spur gear. Don't worry, I'm still using the stock spur gear with brushless setup. (I have 5 plastic spur gears as my spare, just in case) I'm sorry I don't have any contact with the factory.
Congratulations. It's a blast to build and play. Yes, I upgraded to brushless setup by buying parts separately. You'd need 2.3mm shaft brushless motor, brushless ESC and 3 wired servo. For simpler way, you might consider the ready package from them. All are included. I bought them on Shopee.
Try to adjust the steering trim knob and the steering d/r knob, just in case, if does not work try to turn the car off, unplug the battery and try again
