Wow! This looks so good, I have the set but this is so nice. It fills the holes ( problems ) of what the original set had. It looks way better upgraded.
You've done sometime extra with this one that you may not have noticed. The fact that the backpack is plugged in means that it can be swapped out. Imagine a series where the other ninjas have vehicles that can be swapped out with the backpack to provide different weapons or limbs.
What any lego designer would learn by watching all Mishima's video : lego fans want closed cockpit AND articulations everywhere... ( while keeping the price low, that might be tricky, but still.... )
I’m so glad you did this. I liked the torso and head and the idea but the arms and the legs just did not work out for me. I thought the middle of them were way too skinny and I hate technic holes cause it makes it look unfinished. But this is the best upgrade I think you’ve done. Most of them you make them a lot larger and to me it’s unnecessary. But with this you kept it the same height and it doesn’t feel that much larger but the changes you made are noticeable. I’d like to see you upgrade Riyu and possibly make a mech out of it.
In the long run for my own builds, instead of making a climbing mech for Kai, I am thinking of incorporating some of the climbing stuff into a mech for Arin, since he always uses a grappling hook.
Is there a list of added parts i want to make the mods for the arms and legs but its not super clear what new parts are needed to make these modifications
I think i will get an add blocker soon considering how adds are getting more and more intrusive Edit: could you at the end do a list of the piece you added for the custom version ?
I love the creations, but I just don't understand how you have obtained so much specific pieces of lego over time. Have you bought the same set multiple times or do you buy pieces in bulk? I genuinely want to know how someone acquires that much lego? I'd love to do so myself, but it's an expensive hobby.
I think the torso is to bulky/back heavy for a climber. I would have preferred a mor vertical torso and the arms mounted above/below each other and not next to each other on a horizontal line. But great mech
Love the articulations, but there are some parts that feels off, maybe due to the extended parts and less bulkiness? Legs seems "weaker" for such big changes on the arms and back arms...huh, maybe its because of the disproportionate weight thats throwing me off
I honestly hate that new limb piece LEGO is using for every single new mech they release. It makes the piece count lower, but it also limits articulation. I think they could've engineered the piece to have a ratcheting joint like those technic pieces they use for their really big mechs, but smaller and with studs instead of technic holes. It would've still made the piece count lower as well.
I wonder how it would have turned out if you combine two ninja climber mech it could have eight or six arms and two cables in two arms like a spider mech 😊
Please do a mech based on the Sonic the Hedgehog sets. I know they already have one in the form of Knuckles' Guardian Mech, but maybe you could do something a little different. Perhaps you could do one for Tails. You could make it based on the Tornado plane, which they also made into a set.
Mr mishima , I have sent you an e-mail to upgrade my lego mech. It has been 1 year and 4 months that I have been waiting for you to upgrade it . Please can you do it ?? It would be really nice that you upgrade it. - your fan
