I am thinking to upgrade from quest 1 to quest 3, but haven't tried quest 3 yet. I have few questions. 1. Does quest 3 has more field of view than quest 1? 2. What was the main difference you noticed between using both of them in terms of user's experience. Did you feel you had a big jump from quest 1 to quest 3?
The quest 3 FoV is much better and feels like your properly immersed, and the lenses and resolution are much better, with every thing looking clearer and more realistic.120hz as well, and the new chip. Massive jump.
Not a bad time to get a quest 3 either, I got my quest 3 a couple months after it was released and there was still battery bugs and warping issues with the passthrough, I have enjoyed seeing the progression of the updates but to buy a quest 3 now (Battery, warping and general bugs fixed, plus extra cool features) is not a bad decision, personally for me I was worried about the cost but playing on the quest 3 I have yet to regret my decision. Good on you 👍👋
@@synonymdonut the controllers and the tracking is very good, its very comfortable but collects hairs becuase of the weird face cover. The displays are just very old and pixelated. I tried Quest 2 but in my experience it was worse for pcvr.
hi i want to ask you something when you play vr did you ever felt its boring like i would like to by meta quest 3 is it worth can i play for 5 years without boring or how many time can i play without boring and im using glasses do i need to buy something extra for it and one thing do i need to buy vr charger for another 200 dollars its so many questions sorry about that but if you can answer i would be happy
@@rocketleaguebutfrog123 VR is super fun, it’s just about picking and playing games you like, and if you have glasses it may be worth it to buy prescription lenses because wearing glasses in the headset will reduce FOV
To add on with the "is VR boring" question. When I first got my VR years ago (quest 1) I played more multiplayer games like Pavlov, onward, rec room and VRchat. If you like singeplayer games you will definitely get so much more enjoyment but eventually my interest died out. However every maybe 3 months I would get a big urge to play VR again and have a lot of fun, so not once did I regret buying my VR. Also if you get the Quest 3 like I am planning to, you will most likely find a lot more use for it since it has wayyy better hand tracking and mixed reality as well so maybe you could watch a movie in a large theatre in your VR while you're just laying on your bed. This wasn't really possible on quest 1 because the hand tracking is not good enough and the quality isn't as good.
@@zepos thanks for your answer and i think that if i buy quest 3 i will get more fun i was planning to get vr like in 2 years but i still couldnt get it but i will try to get it and it would be my first vr experience so it would be much fun to play it i think i will be play it like 5 hours a day and if i buy some fun mp games i would use it for like at least 1 year
@@rocketleaguebutfrog123 no problem, glad I could help also if you're gonna buy in 2 years maybe you could wait for the quest 4 instead, or you can also consider a second hand quest 2 which is quite cheap for a VR nowadays
