You're not supposed to drag over the Diff/all files from INAV 2.61 to INAV 3.0. At the time of recording this we are on INAV 3.0 Release Candidate #1. In this video I went to the CLI tab and typed
#1. Diff/all
#2. Dump
For each of these, I saved the output in a folder I could find. I only grabbed certain aspects of the diff/all file. I called what I grabbed "Files" when I should have said "Lines of code." The lines of code I copied back over are
#1. ACC, there are around 6 lines of code, these are the the calibration settings for the accelerometer.
#2. # AUX. These are the modes setting for the receiver
#3. #OSD These are the various osd setups that I've been using for a while
I also added this line of code
set stats=ON This records an odometer of total miles or kilometers flown which displays on the first screen when the flight controller starts up.
What I didn't do in this video was I forgot to load my favorite OSD font.
The rest of the build was pretty straight forward. I went through all the screens and showed how I didn't rely on old settings. I am flying this plane at defaults. I will first flying the plane in manual, get a good manual tune going. Then when that is done take up in acro and try angle and horizon modes. Land and disarm. This will save the servo trims. Last I will perform an autotune. The rates will be calculated automatically and the plane should be completely tuned.
