I have the Simicube, I couldn't see upgrading to a stronger base... I Hve it turned down as it's so strong as u want it. What would be the reason for going stronger FFB?
Your rig is awesome there's nothing wrong with your base dude it's in my opinion one of the best but Fanacrap can go the way of the wind that's really the only thing you'd need to upgrade
to be fair the only thing he needed to change is the wheel and the pedals. the rest are perfect. he wont even be using 17+ nm, look how skinny this guy is. he's gonna crash by 16nm
Hey man love this video did not know you are into sim racing been following you for a while on the other channel 😅. Real quick I will recommend you to spread the pedals a bit it will help while racing.
I just went live on the same upgrades, HE+ & Invicta. My wheelsides just came in to convert all my wheels over from Simucube. It’s NOICE. Ps - I went with a combination of the Asetek Bottom and Tilt mount. That front guy has too much flex.
10k? Give over lad! Also guarantee you've never got close to using the Simucube base at full force, swapping out for the Asetek is absolutely pointless, unless of course there's some background money deals happening! Drop the Asetek base and Heusinkveld pedals, keep your current setup and spend the money on the Simucube Active pedals!
Nothing wrong with the heusinkveld pedals…. And there’s no need to have 2 active pedals.. i have the ultimates + and just switched the brake pedal out for the active pedal, and kept the clutch and throttle . It all works great tbh
Really Bad advice, never pay someone else to build a racing rig for you. Research and buy the parts yourself, it is so easy and you will get much much more for your money and is both fun & rewarding. The prices they charge are obscenely ridiculous and unless you are filthy rich with money to waste, why would you go near these people ? Hint for the very best motion system - buy either Sigma Integrale USA or Motion Systems Qubic European.
It may be bad advice to you, but some people don’t have time and don’t want to research what works with what and spend 30-40 hours building a system, especially the people who can afford $30,000 sims. I work with them to create videos on how to piece together a $1000 racing simulator on the P1 channel, but p1 doesn’t sell $1000 rigs becuase they focus on the biggest and baddest rigs for those who want to buy and race not build
@@harrisonnevelcars yeah sorry to burst your bubble, I said IF you have so much $ to waste, otherwise the fact is there is a better alternative for genuine prospective sim racers building a rig themselves because they can have same or much better system for a small fraction of what these 'builders' charge. So much B.S. and not just this but others on yt - anyone reading, do some research before you buy !
But you are commenting on a video of someone who can afford to buy that, yes there are products out their cheaper but some people want the top of the line and some dont, theres nothing wrong with that. I have supercars, so I want a realistic feel to my car and willing to pay the price for that.
@@MOTOGAMING-uf1pz LoL yeah whatever dude, I haven't argued with anyone, just a contrary take on it stating facts... like it or don't ... people will make their own minds up if they wish to be ripped or get the satisfaction of building a better system for fraction of the cost.
Man, few things annoyed me about this video, but the main two are saying Asetek software is an upgrade from simucube is pretty crazy.. also, your monitors having a gap like that is annoying.. vario VESA’s adapter kit is a a must for the monitors.. sim-lab are the ones i have but, trakracer has their own version now.. you also don’t need to change your rig to use the free standing triple monitor stand .. unless u want a different color idk
I stopped the video when he said he wants to replace his Simucube because it only has 17Nm, this Podium1racing stupidity has gone too far, from saying that Asetek wheels are Carbon fiber when they are plastic, and the wheelbase is even worse since it's just a VRS wheelbase with old Simucube firmware and worse electronics... Stop misleading people!!!
The Invicta wheelbase is hands down one of the best wheelbases you can buy atm (improved Simucube motor) and the Forte wheel is very high quality, and infact has a composed material of glass, carbon fiber AND plastic ofc. Now on the looks part that's where I agree, the Forte's color scheme isnt up my alley but its a high quality wheel.
I really love the way you setup your “man cave” and would love to see a quick house tour. I image interior design is one of your strong suits and I think that’s a perfect 2nd channel video idea
Shopping List/Price: * Pedals = Ultimate Black+ @ $1,450(ish) * Wheel Base = Asetek Invicta @ $1,300.00 * Wheel = GSI Hyper P1 Wheel @ $1,650.00 * Front Mount Plate for Wheel Base + Quick Release = $400(Ish) Before Taxes and DISCOUNT: I'd say you're right around $4700+/-....Not bad! But I got a funny feeling you got a FAT DISCOUNT! 🙂 Personally, I'd swap out the Ultimate+ Blacks for the Simtag Titlton Ashley Hydraulics pedals, replace the GSI wheel with a Precision Sim Engineering LMX and replace the TrackRacer with the SimLab P1X Pro.... :-)
Dude, you have no clue what you talking about. Simucube is not better than Asetek. They deliver the same quality. The only benefit you have on Simucube are the tons of profiles you can get. On the Asetek bases you have to build your own settings but in the end they deliver the same feeling.
You realize most irl race cars dont have that much force in the wheel? Most are probably in the 5-12nm range like the gt3 you are in. Only ones without power steering like a indycar are going higher than that and nowhere near 27. Also looked you up on iracing and you have never ran a race before lmfao.
Some of you people sound so envious. Just on here to complain or criticize what choices someone else makes. As long as he's happy with his choice, that's all that counts. Just so nasty and evil some of you. You might not realize it, but he built this rig for him. Not you.
A lot of people are on a budget when it comes to building a rig you clearly haven't got that problem I didn't know that until I see the green race car I'm not jealous what's the point in pretending to drive when you have a bloody supercar drive the car what's the point pretending I own MX5 which is a million x better than any setup
Becuase the cost of driving supercars is expensive, one track day is usually $4000-5000 just in tires, wear and tear on car, track insurance and the track say cost. Having a sim I can race whenever I want while also improving my skills that can be applicable on a real track
I have a motion rig 34inch monitors r21 wheel base two wheels heusinvelk pedals shifter and brake , button box 4 bass transducers a pc with a 4090 gpu i9 cpu 64 gbs ram nrg seat, sparco seat bellaco hue lights system and much more and I have spend 12k on my Rig you don’t have 10 k on your rig
Is it just me or does buy a 30 to 70 thousand dollar rig kinda deafest the purpose of sim racing where most people go so they cannot afford to do real life racing at this price the comments of you could do real racing for the price of your sim rig kinda make more sense because at a grass roots level you probably could
Sim racing is definitely based in budget racing when you cant afford an actual car but at a certain point it can be used as a tool to improve. Track cars seem easy to get into but even a spec miata costs $10-$15k but the track days costs thousands, the tires and maintenance costs thousands. Most people say oh just buy a track car but the amount of costs involved are way higher than anyone expects
ngl that "10k setup" looks like anyone could have set up easily and comes nowhere close to 10k with v3 pedals lol and some really weird "upgrade" choices that mostly seem waste of money to show off... now come to think of it is this the same company that made joe rogan rig? claiming they spend 20 hours to "wire manage" in another video if i recall... do what you do just don't exaggerate things like 10k price rig people are not dumb.
This rig was built 3 years ago and when it was built, it was $9000 in just parts, that includes a PC that was $3000 alone. And I have seen first hand the more expensive rigs do take 30+ hours to wire. And people like Joe Rogan pay for convenience and don’t have the time to spend learning how to do that. They want to sit down and have fun
