I have been playing TBC for well over two years now and I can tell you that it is a grind. A massive, massive grind. Brilliant game, don't get me wrong, but it becomes so tactical before long that brute force is no longer viable. You're battling RNG all the way too. It isn't a game for the feint hearted.

Kindly Kevin some advice. If you see a cat combo you can activate it. (Double tap btw.) another thing is that cat combos have to be in the top row, another thing Is you can exit chapters and play legend things, and another thing is you need to play the level and to get golden treasures you either have to get inferior, silver, or golden treasures or just get the golden treasures, thanks for reading! (Bonus! You can tap on the fridge and tap on the cats you can either sell or use. And another thing is you can use all or sell all for XP)

Kindly Keyin and everyone else here are some things you might want to know about battle cats and how it works... Capsules- After opening capsules, press use now or sell if you press use now if they are cats then it will upgrade the cat +1 if it isnt a cat but an upgrade for your base, cats or energy and XP and you press use now it will upgrade it +1 and if it is XP if you press ok im pretty sure it just adds it to your XP. There has been an update that now if you have maxed out your base, cats or energy or XP upgrade and you get that reward from the capsule after maxing those out you can cash it out for a rare ticket but it has to happen 5 times. Its simple if you get something and you press sell you get XP based on what its worth. If you just press ok instead of sell or use now then it keeps it in storage which is the fridge, storage is like a storage it is kept there until you want it. But there is a max for how much can be held in storage. Treasures- Treasures are the inferior, normal or superior thing that they give you randomly after completing a stage. If you click menu on the chapter's main screen it will say treasure then you clidk that then after clicking that it shows you different boxes which give different permanent power ups the brown circle is inferior, silver circle is normal and gold is superior. You get treasures after completing a stage not everytime though sometimes it takes a while to get a treasure especially a superior. One stage you will get a superior on your first try then the other it will take like 15 or more tries before you get one thats how random it is. Thats why they have events for givung you a higher chance to recieve a treasure, it may not be a superior but it will be a higher chance of getting one because sometimes you could play a stage 10 times in a row and not get a treasure. When you get all superior treasures from the stages that the powerup needs you will have 100% of that powerup if not and you collect some silver some gold and some brown it wont be a 100 maybe 30 or 50 it depends. Cat guide- All of the cats can attack well some I have this uber rare who wont attack until it sees its type of enemy so it just stands there. As I was saying all cats can attack but they all have enemy types that they attack best and can use special effects on. When you are in battle hold a cat button and you will see that there are alot of enemy types and atleast one of them is highlighted, like more brighter than the others. Some cats dont have anything highlighted because they dont have a preference they just attack. I think seeing all of this would be better using the cat guide so click on a chapter and on the chapter's homescreen it should say menu. Click menu and then it says cat guide, click cat guide and you see all your cats you can swipe to see them all or use the filter and see specific cats. If you click on a cat or the filter you can see all the different types of cats like red cats, angels, aliens, zombies, blacks, None(traitless) and more. Now if you click on a cat the one that is highlighted for example if they have powers that attack red enemies the best the red box will be hughlighted and there are yellow boxes also some are abilities and some are affects. Hold them down to read them. If you click on the filter that was on the home page of the cat guide, you can see the ranks of the cats, enemy types they attack( the ones that I said) and the yellow boxes tons of them, if you hold them down you can read them. If you click them and choose them as a filter you can see which cat has it and if no cat you have has it, it will tell you. So if I want to equip a cat that can fight black enemies and knock them back and I use the filter by clicking the black and finding the knockback ability or effect( I forgot which one it was), it shows me plane cat, I have plane cat who can do that for me. Kindly Keyin Sushi cat attacks red enemies best thats why it was able to die more easily when you spawned Sushi cat. So remember the traits show you the enemies that the cat attacks best not what that cat is. By experimenting with the cat guide you will get used to equipping needed cats, I use it alot. Enemy guide- If you click on a chapter click menu and click enemy guide. Enemy guide is similar to cat guide. Enemy guide shows you what enemies you have fought and what their traits are so if they are a zombie im pretty sure its a purple square box with a Z. It also tells you what they can do to your cat. For example I know some floating enemies can freeze your cats so they arent moving for some time that gives them a chance to attack. I also know using the cat guide some cats are immune to certain type of enemy powers and also some enemies are immune to some of your cat's powers. Also play around and look at the enemy guide to know what type they are, what they can do to your cats and what cats you can use to stop them. Stage power ups- When you press play and you are about to choose a stage to play at the bottom there are powerups for you to use for that stage. Like speedup which speedups the round and Cat CPU which is like a bot who isnt very smart all the time try to complete the stage for you and if you click Cat CPU twice it turns gold and its jow advanced CPU, you can use that to like play through a level but you arent really playing. So if I wanted a treasure from the Japan level but didnt feel like playing it again I will tap the Cat Cpu twice for it to become advanced Cpu and then I would use it to play the Japan level and it would just give me the rewards I earned. Using a Cat Cpu takes away 1 but using an advanced Cpu takes away 2 of your CPUs. You can try it out if you don’t understand. To use an advanced CPU you have to have passed Japan's level already. So I can't use advanced Cpu on germany if I didnt pass it yet. There are more powerups, if you want to see what they do hold them down and it will tell you. You can get powerups from regular capsules or event capsules or event/monthly giveaways that they do or just buy them when you click the plus next XP. Cat combos- Cat combos are only created when you start having cats that you need to make that combo. So Kindly Keyin you probably did have that ninja cat but you upgraded him and he doesnt look the same obviously, if you click upgrade on the chapters homescreen there is a reverse 🔀 circle button near the cats photos, click it and it will show you its evolutions but only if it has evolved. Cat combos MUST be at the top row of the cats you equipped. Click a cat combo to equip. I dont know if I missed anything if I did I will edit this comment.
