I don't really think this is the place for you to make a confession like that and I think you should confess that to the police and not a youtube comment section
So easy to get boxed in by consistent color blocking, this shows that a little randomness can turn out great. I can easily see this being some kind of roboball player or a scrapyard frankenstein. Please do the rest!
I really like that you reused the "legs as toes" concept from the original. I'd like to recreate some of my childhood sets one of these days, I'm getting inspired over here!
Awesome bot! If you plan on making the other two it'd be really cool if they combined or armored up this guy somehow (the number on his chest just gives off combining super robot vibes lol) :)
I was very creative in my childhood that I made a big lego mech suit from random lego pieces that is functional and weak and it can fit a lego figure inside. I keep upgrading my lego mech, and now it's stronger and better. Can't wait for you to upgrade your childhood lego robots to bigger and better robots.
Every time I upgraded a Lego design I’d always think how past me would react if I want back in time and said “here I upgraded it for you” kind of nostalgic for me
The big problem with Lego is that it’s built for kids, so it kinda has to be simple to make, otherwise they lose their target audience. Simple to make = not so good looking
Could you build a robot cradle, and a little diorama of scientists transferring the data from the old robot chassis to the new chassis? Just feels right.
I probably would have made the left arm and legs blue and yellow to match the core and right arm, further improve the look of the robot. Beyond that, it's an awesome build!
Epic upgrade sir! 7:08 I noticed you use this type of "articulation joint" on quite a few builds. Does it wear out or get fatigued with movement? Just curious. But again two well deserved thumbs up 👍👍
Dude your so creative you were born with this talent and I was born with a drawing talent but yesterday I learned how to draw humans because I could ONLY draw tanks which have textures and I was only good at drawing tanks that time but now I’m good at another thing so I have 2 talents in drawing
Awesome!! Absolutely fantastic build. Only problem I have is that the head feels a touch small, and could do with extending up a little above the eyes to match the shape of the original, but it's not bad by any means. Amazing stuff regardless! Would love to see the other two upgraded!
Remember as a kid one night building a small lego robot for fun. I then proceeded to play a story out for the robot for a few months. Growing it with pieces until I was bored. I feel a bit bad not keeping it. It's basically impossible for me to remember how I built it at this point
Props for him for keeping his old Lego creations for nostalgic and making them better and by the way I think he made this video for nostalgia percent chance that he will cry over the memories of his childhood from his Lego creations
not bad. I used to spend ages comes up with poseable limbs for my lego robots made a claw like joint at the shoulder and three one hole blocks held together with a 2x3 and 2x2 plate then a few years later they released slizer and bionicle and ball joints became a thing.
