Prior to 3.24 unowned components could not be equipped except via tractor beam, and you had to do insurance tricks to keep them. I'm not certain what the exact rules now but I know for sure unowned upgraded components work in loadout manager now.
Just discovered your channel. Well edited, well narrated, *very* informative and practical. Exactly what a 'how to' and 'does it work?' video should be. You'll have plenty of opportunity for content as things are changing so fast in the 'verse! Is this finally the flood gate year? As a 2014 backer I can only hope. :) Thanks for all the work you put in on your channel!
for those items that didnt go to hangar and dont show on your ship when putting them on manually, try putting them in the cargo bay of a ship first, storing the ship, retrieving it, then trying again.
Very good knowledge and thanks for your patience demonstrating this. Were the guns considered stolen/owned and that’s why they didn’t stick? Sorry I had to skip forward some bits as running out of time
@@TheCoreGameplay I watched another content creator doing the same thing and he encountered exactly the same issues as you. It’s disappointing as it’s so close to being good. He did loot components and weapons from pirate ships on a bounty however and these maybe automatically classed as stolen
I just like it's guns and a bit of storage. The wings being so big gets you in trouble sometimes. We really don't have a lot of options for Corsair size ships at the moment
