Upgrading Rocket Racoon's Mech! Lego 76243 

Hope you enjoy my upgrade of rocket racoon's mech! Instead of replacing the sccbs joints i opted to replate over them instead! I am pleasantly surprised by how much details that can be plated over those fixed joints! Stay tuned for Thanos and Hulk next :D

Absolutely amazing, but I feel like it should have a holder for baby Groot, too.

Your mods made it look so much better! I haven't tried making mocs in forever so seeing stuff like this is really cool. Have you ever made a large mech using only pieces available in a big pre packaged set that wasn't originally a mech? On the one hand it "might" be easy since we have more pieces to use, but on the other hand it could still be a challenge if that set is missing crucial parts. 🤔 Would be interesting to see your take on theory building.

I think if Rocket had a mech, it’d be one of the less humanoid ones. Big legs, front-mounted guns, flat-ish body and all.

Awesome Lego upgrade

Amazing job you definitely improved since the hulk buster video as this not only looks cool but doesn't substitute the mobility of the lego joints. This looks so fun to have.

Arms and legs look a lot better cause they look so thin in the original set I definitely could use one of the pilot cockpit piece (not this one, the one where it has ball joints on the side. Basically the one they had in the Nexo Knights set?) for my own mecha suits like this one

It would have been nice to see them side by side, for a better comparison. Of course, nothing to say about the job itself... well, maybe the tail: for mee it looks odd, so low placed and pointed to the ground. I would have put it where you used that round part for the butt. (but I don't actually like that broom part they chose for the tail. I would have made a brand new one instead, more "raccoonish". But I understand you didn't want to change the original too much)

Quick question about mechs, I recently made a mech, but a connector between 6360104 and 6039482 is loose, however the same connection is used elsewhere, and is sturdy, so of course I go to the Lego mech master for help

It's a vast improvement on the original, but I really hate that lego has changed the mech arms and legs to those curved pieces I much preferred the ball joints
