I broke the window on my smart and figured I would upgrade my speakers while I had the vehicle apart. Here is video capturing some of the work needed to get to that speaker and replace it.
I followed the service manual on the pass speaker (huge PITA). On the driver side, I tried getting to it without removing the inside panel (much easier) This video goes over what I did for driver side.
