That GP-- from 35 is what I learned to plow with. That was about 60-61, I was 10 at the time. In 76 a neighbor sold out he had a 25 mod D it sold for $ 900 new it was 925, the man that sold it was there at the sale, he sold it then.

I can vividly remember riding with my dad on his 1946 Farmall H while cultivating corn and beans in the 1950s. Those were good times and I miss him every day. I am pleased to see the father-son bond you have with Grant. Take care and be safe out there.

Another awesome video Kip. You taking your young lad with you! that is what my Grandfather used to do with me as He and Grandmother raised me and I am sure glad that they did as it taught me so much growing up on a farm. Your young lad will have memory for ever.

The air reel, you should see a little bump on the yield on the beans. I think studies used to say over 2 bushels per acres on an auger head. The small grain could be debatable.

Kinda off topic. But my wife mentioned to me today about using stone in the yard instead of mulch and I know you have this lol. I have a few questions tho. Do we just get rid of the mulch and add stone. Or did you put some kinda cloth down first? And do you just spay it if weeds or grass grows?
