I do quite like the idea of you putting a lot of your revamp or set upgrade builds over on this channel, while on your other channel it is all original/story based builds
The before and after shots really show just how... bare-bones the original set is :O Such a good upgrade! The bulk you added finally makes this look like the heavy duty power-suit it's meant to be Like many others i'd love to upgrade my set as well, but i'm not experienced enough to pick out all the parts you used in this video. A list would be greatly appreciated, if you can get around to it
The ‘authentic’ removement of the parts of the original build, the stylish calming music AND the quality of the upgrade are simply the perfect equasian for top notch content. Love it! Would love to see more from you from this space theme.
Just discovered this channel. You're gonna blow up soon man, these builds are incredible! While rebuilding sets with the parts peovided is cool, reworking an entire set like this is awesome! Subbed!
This is an awesome build and much superior to the original. However, I personally would hesitate to call it an "upgrade". You've changed so much with both the removal of many original pieces and addition of even more new pieces, along with completely redesigning half of the connection points and articulation that it's more accurately a "re-imagining" of the set. By the time you're finished with it, is there even 15% of the original mech design remaining? I mean, sure, it is a definite improvement, but by the end it is essentially a unique MOC "inspired by" the original set. Don't get me wrong, you're awesome at this and I'd love to see you present MOC versions of the other LEGO City Space sets released this year. I'd be especially keen to see you do a custom rebuild of the "60430 Interstellar Spaceship" set.
Just discovered your chanell and immediately watched all of your videos! You have single handledly inspired me to dig out my lego again and try alternate builds!! Awesome work. It would be really really cool if you did the same for the bigger new lego city space sets too. The mech looks sweet. Cheers!
I really wish Lego would start markieting mech sets again. We rarely get proper mechs, and even then we do, they're just small sets with no real theme. I'd love if they'd bring back Exoforce for a 2024 reboot. As it stands, Exoforce's story was never actually finished if I am remembering right.
@@Whatcanwebuild People like me who can't look at a pile of parts and see a finished mech would be VERY thankful lmao! I'd imagine it takes a lot of R&D to make a cool lego mech, and I'd imagine what you show in your videos isn't the first iteration of any of your designs, but I'm better at just following the booklet. Make alterations here or there, but I typically just go by the book.
@@Whatcanwebuild fair enough wish I had all the parts to build yours I’m missing the half size snot bricks . I’ve Ben trying to make my sig a mech for years and I just can’t find any I like / build them from scratch
My understanding is thats it’s because it makes the model more stable and less frustrating to stand up for younger kids who also don’t care about possibility as much as we do.
