Upgrading The Translucent Miyoo Mini - Onion OS V3.10 Installation Tutorial 

I am waiting for my black miyaoo mini to arrive, i am going to put all black buttons in, and also i am going to use black paint on the inside of the top of the shell to block the light leak from the LEDs

I was thinking of getting the blue transparent one, but the light leak is making me hesitate

Thanks for the guide! I have been using the stock one because i thought it was good enough but I just followed it to upgrade Onion and its so much better. Also i have a bunch of extra pocket go buttons I'm going to try out sanding them a bit. Thanks for the idea

Hello there, may I ask you a silly question? How do I go back to the stock os? I upgraded my miyoo to onion os v3.12.2 and I will be honest I am not impressed. I used the stock os for a while and kinder love it as it is. I do however still have the old sdcard. The onion os was installed on a new 64gb sdcard. Please if possible give me an example as to what I can do so I can switch back to the stock os 🙏

what was dpads replacement name ? any link wher to get it. also which buttons did you use as replacement ? any link ? i wish you did record when you have been upgrading it

Hi, your customisation look amazing. A few questions please: 1. How did you remove the printed text on the face of the shell (Select/Start/ABXY?) 2. Were can I source an RK2020 D-Pad please? 3. How did you make the concave buttons? 2. Are Pocket Go buttons just drop in? (and is it PGv1 or PGv2 buttons?)

wait just so I dont fuck up anything, I know its super simple but I always need someone to double check with HAHA, so first off I update the firmware using the stock SD card right? like I don't actually have to put onion on an SD card til after thats done? just making sure cuz I've got a miyoo mini on the way and my SD card for onion arrived way earlier than I expected

I have an old version of onion os, so for me would I need to delete the previous version in my sd card, then replace with the updated version in the folder before I update? Noob question I know. Hope that makes sense.

Personally I think you have made it look worse but I understand your choices. Here in the UK we never got the concave buttons on the SNES controller and I have no nostalgic feelings for them like you have so that part is very understandable. I personally would of kept the face buttons as they were because I do have nostalgia for them and the colours.
