Greta Review! Super informative and covered all the items I considered when getting my uplift. I got my uplift just about a year ago now and love it. I’m tall so I didn’t get the commercial frame for fear of hitting my legs, and it has very little shake in case you ever wish to switch your base. Also the keypad is lockable, just hold “M” until it says LOC, and hold again to unlock. Had do this when I watched a friend’s toddler.
Would love an update on how you are liking it now that you have had it for a few months. How is the motor/movement holding up? Has anything gotten loose/wobbly? Is the desktop still in good shape?
Your logic on the stability of the T frame was reasonable but that is assuming you don't have many devices mounted to the desk frame from the back such as a dual ultrawide monitor setup and some floating speakers. In that case the C frame would probably me a wiser decision since there is significant weight in the back.
Great vid. Is the 60 inches just right or to small you think. I was going to buy one and use with x2 27inch mounted monitors and ideally have some space to work to the side such as take notes or throw a labtop up. You think the 60 x 30 can handle that?
@@hintofglosss it's weird, i got a flexispot because it was the only budget option aside from Autonomous. So far, there has been no wobble at all whereas autonomous did. But Autonomous is a known brand. I did end up getting the flexispot that can hold the most weight. Anyways, uplift, jarvis, ergonofis a way better choice
@7:26 is that an iPad stand on the left side of the desk? If so, could you tell me what stand it is? Also, thank you for this review. I'm looking at getting either an uplift or a flexispot and this was informative.
I enjoyed your review, it was informative and gave me a bit to think about with the pros/cons. I was considering the commercial bar but now thinking I wouldn't like hitting my legs. Also I'm going to take a second look at the Jarvis desk as I get a work discount with them. Just looking for the best deal along with quality :)
yeahh i only got the c frame because I *thought* it would add extra stabilization but their website says there's no difference. i was so trumatized from my last shaky desk. perk is you could put chairs on both sides of the desk if you wanted to. but if i could buy it again i would try the t frame
You kinda can’t. I sometimes rest my feet on top of the bar but in that case you have to sit further away from the desk. You can have your feet on the ground and it won’t be in the way. I’ll also sit cross legged in the chair or try to stand more
