Hey hey Azi, lovely to see you again, as always! Hope all's well your side. Our online apprenticeship course has two elements: 1) a 17-hour video course, and 2) a private social network. In the video course, we teach you every step of the music making process, from blank canvas to finish song - the course includes all the juicy stuff that we don't have time to teach here on RU-vid, like how to transition between sections in different keys, etc. And our social media platform is a safe and encouraging place to hang out online with fellow apprentices (there's even an app for iOS and Android). If you want all the course details, apprentice reviews, etc. then check out: HackMusicTheory.com/Apprenticeship - Hope that helps, Azi, and thanks again for being a part of our community, we really appreciate you being here :)
@@hushedtones7168 We're currently finishing it up and it will be available as an online course early next year. Make sure you're on our mailing list as we'll be letting everyone know when it's ready! You can sign up here: HackMusicTheory.com Please note though, we recommend everyone does Apprenticeship #1 first, as #2 builds on the theory from #1 :) We're super stoked to welcome you onto the Apprenticeship and onto our private network soon!
Aww thanks so much ALDO, and a warm welcome to the Hack Music Theory community! What kind of music do you make? Take care, and we hope to see you again soon for more theory hacks :)
Excellent concept - can't wait to try it. I bet this would sound awesome with a sampled harp sound - very full and dreamy - especially with those 32 notes! Thank you. I am so grateful for what you do.
Almost Abba sequencer chords. I’m going to the Eden project to see them again. Best band in history. I’m a musician because of NIN. Bitwig, Omnisphere, Izotope’s bundle, FabFilter bundle and Soundtoys 5. Couldn’t be happier with the technology.
Awesome! I love the Lydian mode (my song “How to Lose a Friend” was intended to be Lydian but I often feel when I try to write “modal” I end up leaning back to the Ionian or Aeolian roots in my melodies). Anyway - great stuff and things to think about.
Aww thanks so much Devapriya, it always makes us happy to know that our hacks are helping musicians! A warm welcome to the Hack Music Theory community! What kind of music do you make? Take care, and we hope to see you again soon for more theory hacks :)
@@HackMusicTheory You're welcome guys. I am with a band called Nurvs of Steel. We used to play HM. A bit dormant now. I like to develop melodic solos and try integrating modes into it, hence I always catch up with tutorials to develop those traits. Looking forward to your next sessions.
Really cool and refreshing hacks reminding that you don't have to stick to pure minor and major scale when composing (I am still complicit of that:old habit die hard!).
Aw thank you sincerely, Joshua, it means the world to us knowing that you find value in our channel. It's so lovely to see you back here too, thanks for stopping by again! By the way, what kinda music are you into?

Hey hey Bass Lightyeah, it's so lovely to see you back here, thank you kindly for stopping by again! And yes, we dig Porcupine Tree as well, and the mighty Steven Wilson is actually a good friend of mine (and the loveliest human in the music industry too!). So rest assured, he's various musical projects are always on our radar! Also, you may like the collaboration I did with him and a few other friends. You can stream it (or download a free mp3) here: HackMusicTheory.com/Ray - Enjoy :)

Hi Kate & Ray, I was exploring non-diatonic notes lately. It appears I was using them all the time, but in a very chaotic manner. Now I know where exactly I need them and where not!
Hello again! I think I got addicted to your videos :D . Anyway. Last autumn, Icelandic composer Olafur Arnalds had a concert in Tehran. This video and piano line reminded me of that concert and his type of music. And this is the music I really love. And, What's your opinion about giving a piece of music as a gift? to a person you really love? :D
Hey hey Muhammadreza, thank you sincerely for stopping by again, your comments always put a smile on our faces! And we're so happy to hear that you enjoyed this video, and the music in it. Yay!!! And yes, we'll almost certainly do a video on Ólafur Arnalds when he releases his next single (we just missed his latest album). Regarding your question about giving a piece of music as a gift to someone you love. Well, I think you know our answer: There is no greater gift than music! Please keep us posted on your gift, it sounds incredibly exciting, and we're already looking forward to seeing you next Saturday for more hacks and chats :)
PS: We just discovered this beautiful new album by British cellist Peter Gregson (petergregson.co.uk), which we think you may really enjoy too: dg.lnk.to/gregson-bach
