We can not save image file real time db so that's why we save the image to the storage nd it's url to real-time db for retrieving purprose

Hi, i'm getting an error because of the DatabaseReference: "Caused by: com.google.firebase.database.DatabaseException: Failed to get FirebaseDatabase instance: Specify DatabaseURL within FirebaseApp or from your getInstance() call. " Do you know why that might be? (I have a login system before the part where I upload the image and that's when it crashes the app)

May be forgot to write databaseref =FirebaseDatabase.getInstance(). gereference() ; Kindly check out the source code in the description box. And match ur code if u have other errors

I had the same issue too, but after checking the source code, I realized this line was the culprit: if (requestCode == 2 && requestCode == RESULT_OK && data != null) {. requestCode for the second time should be resultCode.
