We spent the last 2 years redoing everything in SwiftUI. Feel free to give it a try (we have tons of videos and new ones coming out weekly!) Plus, it's risk free! You can contact support within the first 30 days if you are not satisfied. (but I doubt!) We recently received an email from a former student who started learning with CWC and now hired by Amazon (twitter.com/codewithchris/status/1506669633239195653?s=21&t=8OorWOWR-Pm-reCJwa_11A) @AdrienVillez
Hi Chris! Thank you very much for the video. It helped me a lot for my Startup. I have a specific question and hope that you reply to it.. why do you save the filename of Storage (pointer) in the value of the key "url" in Firestore and not the imageURL, which ist generated in Storage ? That would save a Firebase Storage call.. or did I understand something wrong? What is your opinion?

Are you referring to LaTeX code? This is by no means the best practice, but one way to store it is to store it as text / string, and later on, query it as text / string, then write a function that will convert it back as a latex document. - Iñaki
Not sure which functions you're referring to since there are a lot, but yes you can write it with MVVM or any architecture you're accustomed to. If you're learning, our recommendation is to focus on learning the concepts and worry about the architecture later once you develop your skills. - Pat
@@CodeWithChris Thanks for replay Chris! Not to be annoying or anything but what if you wanted to add images or other files directly from your computer without the files being part of your xcode projects?
Then your computer is gonna need to be some sort of server. If an image is NOT part of the app bundle when shipped to the App Store, the image is not gonna be inside the app. The image will have to be downloaded in some way, either from AWS/Firebase/etc or your own server. It's like going to a dinner party (potluck) but you left the sausages in the oven at home.... @AdrienVillez
