It seems regardless of size from coming home from hospital to now he’s 2 months regardless he is slouching with or without insert… Any recommendation?

Some blogs and reddit posts are claiming that after you remove the infant insert, the c-shaped back makes it so that chin touches chest and creates a safety hazard. Do you folks have an official reponse? It must be turning away so many customers

This is exactly what is happening with our son who is 4.5 months old. He’s kind of a short baby, but he’s 13ib so shouldn’t need the insert, but without it he slumps down so far and looks horribly uncomfortable

Hi there, the Mesa Max is suitable for children 4 lbs-35 lbs or 32 inches in height whichever comes first. Once the child has grown to either of these, it is time to transition to a convertible, which is generally around a year of age. Thanks!
