Uppawe Eànti (Awakening the Birds) is either the 5th or 6th track of VAR UMN's 2nd album, I'm still working on.
Eànti (birds; sing. Eàntu) and their songs, have always been something that gives me peace and joy. I haven't played any sort of flute in 25 years, so I wanted to give it a try. I wanted to create a joyful song that transmitted freshness and freedom, as well as a rapid shift of cycles under the same life's rhythm.
The 2nd album is about celebration, and each song is a celebration of something important of the day before the coming of the New Moon. So I do hope you enjoy this one. It was actually the first song I've created for the upcoming 2nd album.
