Upper South Cave Without Cryopods - Artifact of the Pack - Ark Survival Ascended - Official PVE

This video we take a run through one of the path options in the Upper South Cave on the Island on Ark Survival Ascended and find the Artifact of the Pack, one of the 3 artifacts required to summon the Megapithicus Boss. This run is completed on a Direwolf which you can get in and out of the cave without using cryopods.

Great guide - managed to get the Bary all the way down the same way as your wolf - just jumping around the side of the first Tree blockage - but staying on the same route. Also came back the same way but couldnt jump around the side to Cryo'd the Bary just at that late stage - no Wild creatures had spawned just ran the exit room with the glowing red Tall mushrooms - hope that helps. :)

I love your videos, the only issue I'm having is, when you are loving in the game, the picture becomes tolerably blurry. It works and I'm ok with it, but you might want to look into it. Just a suggestion. Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback, glad you’re enjoying the videos. I had similar concerns and have adjusted the bitrate when recording, the more recent videos should be better quality.

Stats on your wolf? I have an imprinted baby girl with about 6k health and over 700 melee. Thinking about using her. Lol nvm I just saw when you showed the stats. Nice she should work just fine then

Nice. I have slightly higher stats on my 12 wolfs I bred fully 100 % imprinted aswell.

@@danieljermaine8782 yea she stood up about 3K with 358 melee and luckily got mutation of my first try just didn’t end up with a male baby. I kept her anyway because the stats are still better than anyone we tamed & the imp boost is really nice on a wolf with that base.

@bazar2021 Nice. Same mate. I roll around in the North with about 6 wolfs. Very OP. Everyone of them has about 800+ melee. The destroy everything with ease lol. I started my breeding off with 3 150 males I caught and 1 145 female

Yes, the underwater tunnel is tricky but I should do it at some stage. The issue with the Barry is not being able to get it out, you have to pod it and go the rest of the way out on foot.
