In his video provides a concise overview of the Upper Tamakoshi Hydroelectric Project in Nepal. With a power capacity of 456 MW, it is the largest hydroelectric project in the country and has been operational since July 2021. Situated on the Tamakoshi River, a tributary of the Sapt Koshi River near the Nepal-Tibet border, this project holds significant national importance. At full capacity, it can generate power equivalent to two-thirds of Nepal's current power generation. Notably, the project was financed entirely by domestic financial institutions and companies.
