I actually have an explanation for that in lore which will be revealed sometime after the Hashira meeting deciding whether or not Gyutaro will be killer. (Referring to the entirety of the Swap AU series on my channel)

Basically Michikatsu (Koku) is still the older brother. There childhood is mostly the same but the changes start when Yoriichi invented Sun Breathing. In this AU Yoriichi wasn’t actually capable of using Sun Breathing. So basically he had to create Moon Breathing. So the brother’s breathing style is swapped. (This was done so the protagonist [Ume / Daki] would still learn sun breathing.)

Yep I know that, I decided that Yoriichi should be nerfed in this au otherwise I can’t see him being a demon. I had to swap the breathing styles due to sun immunity. If yoriichi was a sun breather and a demon (that would more than likely conquer the sun) the series would be over before it even started. He’d be way to powerful, so I used swapping breathing styles with the idea that “Yoriichi made the first breathing style but wasn’t able to use it, so he tried teaching it to Michikatsu (Kokushibo) and Michikatsu learned it perfectly. After that Michikatsu suggested changing up the breathing a bit to see if Yoriichi could use it. That’s how Yoriichi ended up with Moon Breathing.”

Yep, they are most definitely nerfed. They won’t be in the actual series but I figured that if they were at the actual canon power level, everyone would be dead in an instant lol

I just found this comment now so I’ll explain it even if it’s late. I based him off the Zohakuten form since to my knowledge it’s a combination of all of his forms.

Well. Since you don’t read the manga (likely considering if you did you would understand) I’m going to mark this comment as a spoiler. So read at your own risk. Some Uppermoons are replaced and die. Hantengu is the original Uppermoon 4. Considering that you didn’t mention Kaigaku I assume you got confused. Basically it’s like this: Daki & Gyutaro are Uppermoon 6. They die so Kaigaku becomes Uppermoon 6 after them. Gyokko is Uppermoon 5. No one replaces him, he is and always has been Upper Five. Hantengu (he has many different names for each of his forms but he is generally called Hantengu) is Uppermoon 4. He dies then after Nakime becomes the new Uppermoon four after him. So yes there are only 6 Upper Moons. In the entirety of the series a few die, that means they get replaced. So it’s just that some were replaced later on. Hope this makes sense!

I’m sorry I don’t fully understand your question so I’ll try explaining like this: In canon Muzan is afraid of Yoriichi. In this AU Demon King Kagaya is afraid of human Michikatsu (Kokushibo)

Wait AU king kagaya is afraid of Michikatsu humans? And yes that was my question and is a little difficult to understand the logic of your answer If yoriichi is uppermoon 1 and michikatsu is a hashira of current time of humen ume In the canon the twin tsugikuni are from sengoku era and the AU is from taisho era so how does kagaya demon is afraid of michikatsu? Because he must have trauma over 400 year ago and yea he can have trauma of michikatsu like 1-5 year ago but it doesn’t have much sense so I thought it was a person of sengoku era 😐

@@yoriichitsukikuni9205 Michikatsu is not a Hashira in the current era. He was a Hashira in the Sengoku era but was banished after failing to kill Kagaya. Edit: No everyone else has been moved to the Taisho era. Only roles are swapped. The basic plot is still mostly the same.

Honestly you’re 100% right. The power levels in this are truly messed up. Unfortunately I made this a while ago. If I ever remake this I am definitely fixing this as looking back I think I just “killed” the Uppermoons because I didn’t know how else to do the video. You have my apologizes for the horrendous display of power here. Thank you for pointing this out (though I already knew), I apologize for my mistakes and will try my best to correct them in the future.
