Eric MacPherson He's way more sincere than Bob Barker ever was. You can tell Drew is having a lot of fun hosting. He was a bit lost for the first year, but he eventually relaxed and is a great host! I used to have respect for Barker, but all the time he was a dirty old man, using his influence to bed members of "Barker's Beauties". He's like the Bill Cosby of game show hosts. Then he has the nerve to put down Zoo workers, especially those that work wit Elephants. Inferring that they hurt animals and don't care.
Oh and yes i grabbed that check and them roses and was thinking in my mind....SHOW ME THE MONEY. I had just lost my job, 2 kids, newly married and didn't get a honeymoon. That money paid of bills, put good in my home, savings, and our Cabo honeymoon was amazing :)
I LOVE DREW! In fact the entire staff was super nice and genuine with their show of excitement. All I wanted was to go on the show and be like my mom (who was the 1st ever 2 win an airplane when Dennis James was the host) and win a honeymoon. I was able to get our honeymoon, payoff bills, invest, and I put money away for taxes. I've sent 4 friends down there 2 try out and all of them have been picked. Watch my dad and sister tomorrow 4 the father's day special. They make it to showcase.
People are not "pre-selected". The two lines are for the "General Admission" ticket holders, which is the ticket I got when I signed uo on the site and the 2nd line is the "priority ticket" holder, which those tickets are available for awhile on the site until they run out and then it turns into general admission. I got picked due to my energy and my Price Is Right nails which they did a close up when I 1st came on stage. I showed them off in the interview.
I enter and play at PCH every day, so to see them with you guys, it's something for me to see. Please show us what all the center slots look like if you can from $20K to $100K if you can.
That's not odd at all. They are doing that this week as well. TPIR has the full contestants row list of names ready before the show begins. Doesn't take more than 10 seconds to write someone's name on a check with a magic marker.
They prepare large prop checks back backstage for all the possible contestants before the show, some times during the game if something unforeseen comes up. All of the events I went to that hand out prop checks do this if there's a pool of contestants.
Since the chips are metal I would think so, or, there is a button he can press and there are glass walls that move depending on which button he presses
Well, think about it. Whenever the game comes up, you've got four possibilities. Surely they had four prop checks in the back ready to go. Then all you have to do is get the right check ready. Really, it's not as hard as you guys make it out to be.
If you think it's rigged, then why did only one other person win the pch plinko that week as opposed to sometime winning everyday they played the plinko game?
You are killin me! Did you ever stop to think the 1st four peopl who were called to "come on down" had their names on checks as well.....just to be prepared for any one of us to "possibly" hit? If it was so rigged, then why did only 1 other person that week hit the $20k as oppossed to someone everyday winning it or someone every other day hitting the $20K. Stop being so negative. Geesh
I think there is a man in the Plinko game with a magnet and they decide who will win and he uses the magnet to make the chip fall where they want it to!!
yes it was fixed but the contestant was not involved thats how they get the natural reactions on this game and others big wheel etc... on this game notice at the bottom the chip wants to fall into the slots but cannot why ? the have pop up guides that seal the path to lead it to ther perfered destination which can not be seen because the triangle patterns hides it notice on replay the last couple of bounces especially before 20,000 it wants to go into 0 but bounces out now you know
Don't know about you, but I'd kind of pissed they just rolled the win music without letting me use the rest of my chips. Probably something they always do, but still, you could win quite a bit more if you got lucky.
Sorry but that wasn't staged hun. Did you ever think that maybe they had checks ready with all the peoples names that they picked in the first round of four people? I won that by pie luck and grace. :)
For those that think it was rigged....y'all need to stop. They played plinko everyday that week and if they wanted it to look good with prize patrol backstage everyday, there would have been a winner everyday. Only myself and one other guy won. He won the day after me and got $20k as well. No one else that week won. As far as that big check....no Sharpie was used. My name and other info is written out with those hard sticking letters.
i doubt it...cbs, drew carey, and the executive producer of price woudn't dare risk pulling a "21" like scandal knowing tpir woud be pulled off the air, and they'd all be blackballed if such "fixing" was proven....cbs, and the producers also know that standards and practices coud prove their case much easier now than they did in the 50s against the quiz show fixings of that era...
If anything, a cardboard check was probably prepared for me and the other 3 people that were first called to come on down. They have no idea, who out of the first for is going to bid right in the contestant row. Go to my page and watch the show from the beginning and stop HATING!
they could have had one for all the people that were in the front row and whoever got up they grabbed that if they won but yes that is suspitious!! haha
