@Zan Particles Holding up a baritone for a long time can be super tiring (especially when ur built like a twig like me) so the long drum break here is nice 🙂
Playing this for our halftime show and HOLY SHIT I'M EXCITED!!!! Like-- this sounds like that one color you get with yellow and lime green mixed together whenever both the Synth and the band are playing at the same time and it sounds like just straight up lime at the Synth dominant parts and Yellow at the band dominant parts like just-- AAA A Aaaa Aa A. a. aa
My band is playing this. But too bad we are a military marching band and we don't have auxiliary percussion like the synthesizer or xylophone. (I'm an alto sax player btw)
@@Emmisullivan14 same, our front ensemble really only comes out during half time. On occasion they play stand tunes with us but the dance team is right in front of us so there’s really no where for them to go. Dance team and color guard are considered part of the band because they’re with us during band camp and marching band rehearsals so that’s why they’re in front of us.
Sean Hilliker what you’re a drum major!!! awesome!!! Me too it’s me senior year too!! Most likely there won’t be a marching band season cause of the pandemic! ☹️
My bands doing this for our senior show this year and it was my first live marching show that I saw( it was the year before my freshman year) and it’s part of the reason that I’m still in marching band
We play this in pep band, one of my faves. Us baritones bring our bells to the sky and bring them down right on that first D whole note. We are quite loud.
AAAAAA WE JUST DID OUR FIRST RUNTHROUGH OF THE MUSIC AND AAAA In color guard, we have (in order); Foundry, Iron Man (transition, the percussion get to smack bang tss all sorts of stuff including a weird metal jug), Nothing Else Matters, and Uprising AND AAAAAAAAAAA THIS SOUNDS SO COOL WITH ALL OF THE LITTLE TJNGS AND STUFF THE PERCUSSION DOES
Wassup! Our band is playing this song as a special event with another high school and a college band. Theres gonna be 23 baritones, like 19 trombones I think (i play both) plus a few euphs and a heck of a lot of tubas! In total theres gonna be over 300 of us! I stg its going to be the best thing ever. Ive never seen this many baritones in one place before!
My band playin this but my band teacher but this and an easier part of uprising together and man it sounds exactly the same! *update we are doing really good with this rn!*
