Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio storyline begins . Waiting for Rhea Ripley return as babyface & have a feud with Liv in title & custody of Dom match at Summerslam
Tbh I thought it was too when she was backstage- it wasn’t until she came out and I realized that’s her actual gear. It was pretty cool and I guess her and Liv were doing a Britney Spears cosplay gig
Calling it now. Drew wins at clash at the castle, then CM Punk gets involved at Summerslam and he loses it to Gunther. The CM punk vs Drew feud doesn't need a belt to be fire.
@@joshuacitron899 I wish people would pay attention to what Triple H said. You can't choose which champion you go after, unlike the Rumble. It's the champion you're locked to on your brand.
@@DOMCRUZMUSICthey suggested it might have actually been a botch. Not sure it was quite supposed to happen like that. I was also hoping Lyra would win.
Used to be one of those people that were super tough on Nia for her being an unsafe worker and injuring people but she has improved SO MUCH since her return Happy for Nia for being the Queen of the Ring. She really does deserve it
I’m glad that Sami won, BUT what in the BLUE HELL was Bronson Reed doing the whole time Chad and Sami were going back and forth outside the ring at the end of the match? Simon breezed past it on the review, but seriously Sami, Chad and Otis did their thing for about 5 minutes outside the ring, Bronson snuck back in the ring and hung around in the corner just to eat a Helluvakick out of nowhere 😂😂😂
Not only are the women’s tag titles treated as an afterthought, but it’s so obvious that Jade and Bianca are gonna split up and have a feud probably at next years Mania.
Simon keep getting mad at the women's tag titles being on the pre-show is strange... giving the fact both men's tag titles weren't even on the show and are currently being held by two comedic tag teams no one really care about... at this point I don't even understand why they split them up should've just unified them because truth and miz was a feel good moment for wrestle mania but should've got squashed by the wolf dogs first night of the draft and A town down under just have random talk shows and are sidekicks to random heels
The womens division is missing a mid card belt coz Laira and Tiffany are too good not to be holding belts, future champions for sure but for now they need a programme
There is actual small improvement there. During the first Saudi show Natalya and her opponent (forgot who it was) basically had to wrestle with blue trashcan bags over loose attire. Still sportswashing is shameful, but if FIFA does it, can't see WWE ending it prematurely!
So Simon are you claiming the Rock Bottom sucks because it never won The Rock any matches? Or Old School was the least devastating move of all time because it never got the 1,2,3? Or Brock Lesnar's German Suplexes are trash because they've never achieved a pinfall? Or Kevin Owens top rope inside out fisherman's suplex should be scrapped because it isn't his finishing move?
I don’t know if Randy messed up and he was supposed to take the pin there or the ref messed up and he wasn’t supposed to count the pin there. Either way, it wasn’t on Gunther. Not sure if HHH planned it that way or he just rolled with it for a story angle.
@@citizensane4387 Though one can blame Randy, I say it's really the Refs fault. He shouldn't have counted that, the shoulder was like foot and a half off the mat. Come on, you have Randy and Gunther in there, they can ad hoc a proper ending if you wave that pin off no problem.
Might be a storyline, or maybe HHH is just really good at patching things up on the fly when they go sideways. Either way nice to see that they actually ackowledged that it happened, we all remember what happened with Becky and Rhonda back in the day with a similar situation.
Liv winning I thought was a awesome change I think & Orton facing Gunther was good except for the finish & Nia winning kinda was surprised I thought Lyra would win
I’d love to see a Bloodline story that extends to the women’s division, which Nia Jax is in the “New Bloodline” and Naomi is in the “OG Bloodline”. Naomi eluded to something similar on social media a few weeks ago
On the tag team title situation... Would you rather them not be on the show at all? If there's no room on the main card do you not put them on the pre show? The pre show's there to pump you up and get you excited for the event. What better way than showcasing the tag team champs?
Can we talk about how much better the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments were compared to the Continental Classic? KotR and QotR had logical winners and had actual stakes on the line with the winners getting title shots at SummerSlam, plus they were able to build up and put over new stars like Lyra. Meanwhile, all the Continental Classic accomplished was giving Eddie Kingston a third meaningless blet to go along with the 2 other meaningless belts he already had.
Gunther is coming off the longest Intercontinental Championship in history. Randy Orton is on borrowed time, and it's a miracle he's even wrestling again. Much less regularly. Gunther has all the time in the world but Orton should be used as a special attraction like Lesnar and Goldberg were. King Orton would've been the perfect story for him and it would've injected him into the various plots without making him wrestle every week. To be honest, I haven't liked any of the Creative decisions being made since Wrestlemania 40. It feels very safe and predictable. It's strange to me how fans are shilling for HHH as though he can do no wrong. I don't think I'm watching the same WWE... One comment on the idiot that is Logan Paul. Did you see him drink his Prime then immediately jump to frogsplash Cody through a table. He didn't even look first. This is incredibly callous behavior and if he continues this behavior, something really bad is going to happen. Safety should come before ego. But I love Simon's hyperbole. No one thought Cody was going to lose.
the second Dominik appeared, the storyline behind the Women's Title got 2X more interesting, but as the scenario unveiled, it got 10X more interesting. it had been a while since I was so intrigued about a female title
First Queen of the Ring tournament winner is Nia Jax... ugh. BTW I miss the 1 night tournaments like the one I saw as a kid. All Hail King Owen Hart. Zelina won the Queens Crown Tournament. Vince was trying to make it different than the KOTR.
6:26 "There is no secret!" Triple H had 2 black, egotistical, overhyped musclegurls teamed up...the "secret" really is non-existent. Really, the interference and such in Cody's match was, BY FAR, not the only "unnecessary" element in this event. I think the men should wear completely flesh-obscuring attire in their matches to show a level of equality that is IRONICALLY FUCKING FORIEGN to the backwards hosts, and the crowd paying to see male flesh but also not being legally allowed to be interested in it.
They got both of the finalists wrong. Orton. Has never won KOTR, he should've won beaten Gunther. Gunther has a lot more time to do it than Orton does. Unless they plan on using Nia in the Bloodline, they should've had Lyra win.
Bonus Up for Becky's outfit. Absolute fire. EDIT: Also, Bonus Down for part of the Main Event. On the whole, the match was very good, but I felt like Cody was giving way too much to Logan early on, even before the brass knuckle shot. Cody should have been mostly in command until the knucks came out, but if anything it felt like Logan was pretty dominant. You're absolutely right that he is an *infuriatingly* good wrestler, but in character they simply should not be presented as equals. It didn't kill the match, it was a fun ride overall, but it did require a bit more suspension of disbelief than I like.
Speaking about definite win and definite loss; does anyone realize why Cody Rhodes's Reign Seems Weak? Because WWE is booking shenanigans in all of his Title Defenses. From WMXL, to AJ Styles to Logan Paul - There have been interferences and shenanigans and distractions - the build up to the Title Win was strong but the reign itself is full of unclean victories.
They flew Ludwig to Saudi; he was there with Gunther in the "arrival" clip; it wrote itself that he be the one to crown Gunther, or just hold his crown; now we HAVE to get "Sir Ludwig"; the smarm levels will positively *seep* through screens... 💦💦 🤢🤢🤣🤣
I knew Liv was gonna win, still disappointed tho. Ever since she came back she's been the embodiment of her slogan: Cry About It. The crybaby gimmick grates on me, very few can pull off this "what I'm owed/deserve" bit w/o sounding like whining. She's not one of them. I'm not looking forward to seeing more of it. Hopefully they drop that part of her character soon and let her be the bamf she was before. And if not, hopefully someone stomps her into oblivion soon enough.
Ups and downs is by far the most watched videos on this channel. I hope someone else writes these scripts for him. Or does the editing... Not really cool if Simon is doing everything and everyone else is getting paid.
In regards to Randy Orton. At the finish, it looks like he's trying to get his shoulder down. Rewatch it. The camera angle made it look like a bitch. 🇨🇦😵💫
Funny thing about the figure 4 part is Logan screaming Cody you’re going to break my leg. I think some people didn’t look into it but Who broke Cody’s dads leg back in the day and I’m pretty sure they used the figure four to say it “happened” ric flair
That was the most devastating Least Devastating Move in Sports Entertainment I've ever seen, and it STILL didn't get the job done! I immediately thought of you when it happened lol
Having the Women's World Title change hands twice in less than a month and a half just seems off to me. If you're having trouble getting Lynch to sign a contract, why have her win the title in the first place?
Just curious for those who were there. Was the audience/crowd chants overlaid or were they really into it? Since I’m just watching the replay, it sounded like they piped in the chants
Dom & Rhea relationship has to end with one becoming a babyface and one a heel, that's how kayfabe works haha. People don't want to cheer Dom so Rhea is for sure going to become a babyface by the time she comes back from injury.
Great show from the wwe wrestlers. Too bad the crowd was poor, not like the one in germany or puerto rico. No one is talking about the crowd. I didn't see any black people or women. I think there were more women in the ring than the crowd. This is one messed up country.
Wrestling is great!!!!!!!!! What a time to be a wrestling fan I grew up watching The attitude era this new era is getting to the point where it's almost as good triple h who is my favorite wrestler by the way keep up the good work
Logan Paul is still a champion (longest reigning active champion to boot) so he still needs to be protected at least a bit, if not for him but for the US championship in general.
