This video is the single most important thing for all UPSC aspirants. It should get viral. Sir is raising extremely vital issues and UPSC must address these if it wants to remain a transparent organization. Some things I have come across which made me question the sanctity of UPSC- 1. A fellow aspirant of mine told me that he will give his mains exam from Jaipur (he has no connection to the city nor has ever been there). Why? Cz there is an insider info circulating in Delhi that papers from Jaipur have high probability of scoring good marks. Seriously ?! 2. I heard one of top ranker of 2019 interview back when he cleared- He said he cleared in 5th attempt but he has no idea how he got selected this time around and not his previous 2 mains. And this happens with many toppers, just hear them carefully. So if toppers are themselves not sure what is it that's really hitting the chord with the examiner then how is anyone sure ? 3. After Prelims 2023, I commented on one of Mudit Sir's video of how difficult CSAT was for people of non math background and questions were of CAT, IITJEE level whereas syllabus mentions up to Class 10th level BUT I had to delete my comment within 3 days cz some IITians ganged up against me n started saying that we are already the cream of this country and its good UPSC makes difficult CSAT so that fools like you get filtered out, high IQ is what matters, CSAT should be more difficult cz we automatically get an edge, IAS officers are mostly from the top tier colleges of the country so its fair and etc. etc. I could go on with many other instances but what really is the need of the hour is that UPSC should do a lot of reforms now, high time. 1. Give answer keys within a week of Prelims and disclose cutoff. 2. Give Prelims result with names and category. 3. Give model answers of Mains and also release the answer copies of at least few top 20 or 50 or 100 recommended candidates. The massive number of youth who appear for this exam will continue appearing no matter the number of years they are wasting cz the exam is such, it is an addictive loop of the hope that we can be better with each attempt. But we deserve these reforms. We seriously do.

UPSC is the most opaque body ever!!

Very true @muditgupta the credibility of UPSC is in question. A few days ago a friend had asked me how did I find courage to give an attempt after the NEET scam and I replied with confidence that UPSC has no such history of scams. Now, this faith is also shattered. The question of prelims results cut off and answer key is also very important that they should release it after the exam not after a year.

Every other teacher on and off yt is trying to sell their courses, and trying to persuade us to give one more attempt. Mudit sir u got some real guts to raise such questions. Kudos to ur strength sir.

I have given 4attempts till now. In my previous attempts i was never doubtful about the results published by upsc but iss saal ppl scoring good marks in csat gs have failed whereas some others with less marks have cleared. There's definitely something fishy about this prelims result

This year they didn't even release the name list of prelims qualified candidates. After the allegations on Birla , this is what UPSC came out with that it is better not to release the name list.

Very pertinent questions raised. UPSC's corruption has been in the news since long but it has been suppressed b heavy political prowess. It's time to unleash heavy social media pressure and bring UPSC on it's knees. Lets move towards transparency.

Moreover,there is no carbon copy provided to the aspirants of the prelims exam..how the hell can we check with the answer key that I was getting so so marks and claim after 1 year of examination..this is high time for a major reform

You are absolutely right. People blame students that they waste years but don't question the UPSC..in this age and time it has to reform and curtail the time they take for the exam. There are always 1-2 Q are for omission. Do they sleep while preparing the question paper that after the exam is over they realise that we set a question wrong. Bhai then Don't use such language that you yourself is not understanding in the attempt of making paper difficult.And answer key and cutoff has to published immediately. No excuse for that. Sheer autocracy of this institution who asks questions about democracy and transparency in the exam. And ethics paper is just a joke. What are they trying to check by making people write 9 papers with total subjectivity.

Sir 1) even if UPSC is bringing new changes to CSE exam, they should inform before hand, for example if they have decided to remove optioanal they should infrom 2 to 3 years before hand from the effective year, 2) even prelims answer key they are not releasing right after prelims ABSOLUTELY NO SCOPE FOR IMPROVEMENT 3) 2024 prelims NAMEWISE LIST not released any APPROPRIATE REASON FOR THIS?

UPSC Seems like the biggest time-pass of this country. We need reforms in Govt. Exams.. it's getting shittier by the day

We have filed a case last year asking about the ANSWER KEY of Prelims before the release of Prelims result, Hindi Translation error and other irregularities in UPSC, but till date even after a year UPSC is not able to reply on those points and courts are also not entertaining. All these articles 14, transparency, RTI, writs are just restricted to Laxmikant and not applicable in reality.

Reforms ke nam pe UPSC age kam karegi taki aspirants exam de hi na paye. Magar structural reforms kabhi nahi karegi. Like the government, UPSC is stubborn and maintains its ivory tower stature.

This ias Pooja case is really embrassing for upsc, it raises 2 critical issue, nepotism and fraud, fraud can be dealt by legal action but how they can curb this nepotism in upsc

In my preparation journey, i also believe that upsc is fair deal but after this i feel sad abt upsc which is become also a currupt body. After neet upsc will also cross check its methods and criteria in many areas, ethics paper they added but its moral values they forgot. Superb sir, you are raising all the rightful questions. Transparency is the least we can expect from a constitutional body. Under the cloak of integrity and secrecy, UPSC has had its way like Intelligence Agencies do in courts & public forum. But, ultimately, it is a constitutional body and must be made answerable to the public greivances.

Its upsc incompetency that they have set 5 wrong question in gs paper not fate/bad luck of aspirant we should demand cancellation of this year prelims and ask for reconduct of exam. 5 wrong question were (nec, syndicate, they both have translation error), and the other threee factually wrong were ( women reservation bill ( both statement one two were wrong, no answer possible), flying fox (factually wrong, both statement wrong), isotherm (hemisphere ) not mentioned. This is 10 marks which is more than 10 percent of the cut of if is between 95-100). And also deletint the question does not make it a level playing field. Let take a example of translation error a person who got it correct and no fault of his own will fall from 94 (as their 47 question were correct in net)to 91.8 and those who has not attempted will jump from 90 to 91.8..and those who got it negative will jump from 90 to 93.18. This is seriously a scam if 5 percent of question is wrong in an exam where every single marks matter. We should file cases in court, file pm grievances, raise our voice. This whole 5 question has changed the scenario. I am sure they have deleted 3 question and given 2 wrong answer for women reservation bill and isotherm as both of them were also wrong. It has affected more than 5-10k students who were getting marks above 95( if we assume atleast 1000 people are on 1 marks near cut off). We are not talking about controversial question like radar, red Sea, parasitoid etc.. This is nothing less than a scam. We should raise complain to upsc and fight it out. Seriousl aspirant suffer because of upsc incompetency to set correct question and it is not human error 5 wrong question cannot be termed as human error. Human error is one or two question not 5 question. No one on earth can justify these 5 question as correct. They have stooped to the level of state pcs. Its better to raise our voice like last year people raise voice against csat and we the result csat paper was set according to syllabus. I myself was getting 98 in gs and 90 in csat but failed prelims. 93 without controversial question. Let report against upsc...it better than crying and blaming it on our fate.. Accepting upsc mistake like every year..

Upsc need reforms to come clean about answer key,marks of candidates after every stage within result dates.If they can check result of each candidate of 5 lakh approx in 20 days then also they can compute individual marksheet n put on result tab of result day. First of all UPSC should stop those candidates who got any services in order to get their desired service they keep on giving attempts and eat our seats who's struggling clearing prelims They should release answer key plus marks with prelims result. Instead of reducing age they should take exam within 6 months I came here when I was 22 now I'm 25 and gave only 2 attempts but my half age passed waiting for whole one year

True very true even UPSC should release evacuated answer copies. To err is human and those check copies they are also human . All human makes mistakes 🙏 UPSC is the most opaque body.

I definitely see a flaw in the examination system ...100 Questions in Prelims is a lottery... Reintroduce Optional in Prelims or Increse the number of Questions and Scrap useless CSAT ... Otherwise students from non technical background will suffer.

My name is Gaurav Bankawat and I m a Divyang person. At present I m an Rajasthan Administrative Services officer.I cleared UPSC in 2015 but DoPT rejected my candidature saying that I m not fit. I challenged it in Central Administrative Tribunal, Delhi.and won the case. DoPT challenged it in Delhi High Court but there also I won but DoPT again rejected my candidature despite of 5 member medical board declaring me fit. I have been fighting for justice for last 8 years.

Recently the mains copy of 50 candidates of UPPCS (PCS-J) were exchanged which was brought into light after one candidate saw his copy via RTI. UPSC doesn't even allow to candidates to see the mains copy... what if same thing happened in upsc?

Actually not just CSE, this year they did not release name list in CDS result. I cleared that & i was eagerly waiting to see my name in a UPSC document,but days passes, then weeks, then months, i kept checking. But nope, they’re not gonna release it from now on.

I felt the same whenever ,watching these mock interviews by retired officers and some coaching institutes would invite the officers who are in service for answer writing sessions.

I think DoPT should remove ethics paper at all because practically both upsc and DOPT are neither willing nor able to follow even an iota of it....shame on such defunct organisations ....they proved that there is only one ethics-Might is right!

Sir I do feel the same ... Here I will share my experience of upsc capf 2023 and civil service prelims 2024... In prelims 2024 my marks were 94.88 excluding disputed ques and I didn't get selected and one candidate got selected despite having 92 marks. In capf 2023 the cutoff for obc candidates was 321 out of 600 and they haven't released marksheet even after one week of final result.. My marks in paper 1 were 127.6 with official answer key and in paper 2 i have completed my paper with good answers and my overall interview was excellent and still not in the list .....

Thats very true that aspirant have blind faith and authority just want them to blind....valid questions by mudit sir and this is actually everyones questions which he came out with....this year is 100% black year for every competitive exam as we saw in last few months and after that names not appeared on result makes it very unreliable...but IYKYK what is happening in system unsystematically.

Check the merit list of candidates who cleared prelims...... People having roll no in the group of 8lakh comprises of 5-6 pages.... I wonder how candidates from a particular city can be so meritorious than others

Women should also get extra attempts like we get in state pcs. 21 to 32 age group is very critical time period for us with other duties and responsibilities and society also puts us under pressure for getting married and performing other duties related to our marriage. We should also get some extra attempts.

Wow!!! Behtareen points raise kiya hai Sir ne. Saare State PSCs bikau toh hai hi. Abb UPSC bhi aise laaparwaahi karne lga hai. Higher educational institutes (HEIs) like IITs, NITs, Central Universities sabo mein after PhD; 2-3 post-doc karne ke baad bhi selection kyun nhi hota yaa phir selection kaise hota; is still a mystery. Constitution liberal tilt se interpret kiya jaa rha hai aur Constitutional body hi transparency nhi dikha rhi hai😢
