Gahana Navya James, a gifted Malayali girl from Puliyannoor in Kottayam’s Pala, has achieved a great feat by earning the sixth rank in the fiercely tough Civil Service Examination. Gahana, who has a strong intellectual background, excelled in her postgraduate study of political science at St. Thomas College in Pala, where she earned the top spot. She also graduated from Alphonsa College in Pala with a BA in History. Gahana is devoted to her academic studies and is currently pursuing her PhD in International Relations after winning the Junior Research Fellowship in the UGC NET test.
