characteristics of Meristematic tissue - very small and few vacuoles - living and thin walled - protoplasm of the cells is very dense. - tissues heal the wounds of an injured plant. - young and immature. - do not store food. - exhibit a very high metabolic activity - possess a single, large and prominent nucleus.

Epdermis Tissues - cells formed from the outermost surface of the leaves .

Plant Tissues are broadly categorized into three tissue systems. This classification is on the basis of parts of the Plants they are present.
