Yes Shubhra mam took all the classes except few topics like nuclear weapons and if there are some IR related updates after class then few sessions we got from other faculty members . I'm not aware about the other teacher you mentioned.

Hello Vipul. If you are interested in PSIR optional then you can choose it because it has some additional benefits in terms of syllabus overlap in GS 2 , theories and western political thoughts will also help in ethics, also International Relations will also be taken care of . No doubt it is an interesting optional but it is very dynamic and has a vast syllabus which you should be aware of. I will suggest you to go through its syllabus and PYQs to get an idea. Additionally many lectures related to PSIR are on RU-vid go through them and see if you like it( check shubhra mams channel, study IQ, sleepy classes). Also as you mentioned you are preparing for 2027 and also taking foundation classes. Here I would like to tell you have enough time to prepare well don't stress a lot this starting phase of preparation is very energetic because you will learn so many new things. Just remember to enjoy the learning process so that you don't feel burnout. Study 5 to 6 hours daily with consistency and discipline with adequate weekly and monthly breaks. And don't only take classes and make notes try to revise them and only one thing will help you the most clarity of concepts of static subjects. Don't run behind current affairs unnecessary only read the newspaper and don't try to make notes from the newspaper as your attempt is in 2027, only try to understand the issues happening around just like an aware citizen. Just master the static subjects and then in 2026 some mock test papers and current affairs will be taken care of with revision. No one can stop you from clearing the exam . CSAT ke liye vision se kiya tha starting me . Then for 2023 Target upsc me Rishi sir ki classes ki thi. But last year which is best is RU-vid pe Sunya ias ki PYQ vaali videos hai . They are best 👍 do check it out.

Yes mostly all the theories will remain the same only the IR part can be updated. In IR also the core relationship between the states very rarely changes. If you are following the newspaper then you will not face much issue with IR also.
