A great weekend in Kingston would be around Labor Day Weekend when the Hooley on the Hudson festival takes place. We went in 2019 and it was great. Lots to do, great weather, plenty of food, history and music.
Kingston ny looks a cool town .. Dad and his lady hanging out with them which is cool. I always thought Albany was the capital of New York. Now I’ve just learned that Kingston is the first capital of New York. In 1777 wow .. You learn something new every day in the state that you live in which is good to know ..I’ll visit up there soon..thank you both for funny sense of humor and honest opinion thank you for the beautiful tour ..😊
That was my history lesson for the day! I never knew this. I enjoyed seeing the city. I always enjoy seeing building murals. The large ones like these usually have a great story behind them. I’ve started researching the ones I come across and have learned some good stuff from them.
