When will many police realise, that if they presented themselves in a cordial and pleasant manner, they would get a lot of positive comments on auditors channels, rather than negative ones. Does they not realise how many of the public they serve watch this type of stuff and read the comment, which will shape their opinion of the police? They need to get a grip of the modern day internet and what is going on, such as with auditing and its mass of continuing growing numbers of viewers, and buck their act up.
@@scouseauditz6147 have you considered occasionally flipping this approach on its head and actually informing them ahead of time that you will be on site at a specific date and time to perform an external and internal inspection of the property and Officer conduct? I’m seriously intrigued as to how they would handle a well-drafted statement of intent. At the very least all of the replies would be interesting to read - imagine if you emailed these statements of intent to as many different Police stations in your yard and how long it would take them to draft some bullshit generic response across the county. I’d give ‘em a week. Let’s face it, if you can rock-up and already be doing what you’re doing, how are they going to refuse that? No harm trying and giving it a go - besides, just think of all the possibilities and benefits of having that recorded, it’d be a first mate - aka: *Grade A primO content!* Get on it lad!

The reason they have to identify is nothing to do with a code of practice. they have to identify because a police constable is a public office. you own their office. this means you are their boss, unless you have committed a true crime.

I've watched hundreds of audit videos from the UK and America. It surprises me that these police officers still don't get it. The conflict they create is the reason WHY there are so many views. If they handled this better and knew the laws re: public filming and were ok with it, all these channels would go away. I wouldn't watch if all that happens is you video the building, the police say it's ok and let you get on with it and I doubt many others would. It seems the more conflict they create, the more views there are.
Why do the UK Police simply not stick within the confines of the law; which applies equally to them as well as the public. This group of PCs should have simply got on with their jobs. Nothing to see here.
