I was raised in Dallas for the 1st 20 years of my life but left in 93. This was not there. I think the Esprit Warehouse was in this area because I remember the trolley. Does anyone know? I lived across the highway from this area on Knox/Henderson when it was up and coming. Still heard plenty of gunshots daily. My dad sold that house for 5 times what he paid, probably because it was walking distance to uptown.
I've been considering a move to Texas for about 6 months now. I've looked into Dallas and Austin. Any native Texans here that can recommend one over the other? Whats important to me is street life -- i.e. walkability, restaurant and nightlife diversity.. etc..
Very diverse, you have people that originated from England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Whales, Italy, Spain, Israel, Sweeden, Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Greece and Poland. It is really diverse.
