"Upward Bound" is an exciting musical experience for developing band students, offering many opportunities to practice triplets, rhythms, and enharmonic note-reading. Written in G minor, the piece creates tension with intentional dissonance, encouraging purposeful listening and careful tuning within the ensemble.
