I have owned the UR22C Rec pack for almost a year but still haven’t been able to figure out dspmixfx, today I saw that there is a new update to version 3 on the site and it became even more difficult for me to understand how dspmixfx works in the new version. There are no tutorials in my Ukrainian language at all, but I managed to find your video and understand how it works, now I love my UR22C even more and again I was convinced that I made a great choice for my first sound card in my life ❤ Thank you very much

@@isloburov Привет) Если ты обновил дрова и прошивку аудиокарты, то теперь у тебя как и в этом видео должен появиться отдельный stream-микс. Думаю, тебе нужно включить мониторинг обычного микса через наушники (нажать на значок наушников) и там уже пустить себе в уши и звук игры, и свой микрофон, и звук дискорда, а в Stream-Mix можно пустить только свой микрофон, отключив звук игры. Таким образом ты будешь слышать всё, а в дискорд можно будет отправить только звук микрофона. Также в дискорде тебе нужно выбрать нужный входной канал. Я не скажу щас точно какой именно, но ты поэкспериментируй) Потому что аудиокарта после обновления предоставляет не только один стереовход, но теперь и Voice, и Line, и какой-то из этих каналов идёт с первого микса, какой-то со stream-mix. В общем, потыкай, я думаю, всё получится) Успехов!
Тоже был рад этому обновлению, но звук именно с DAW не транслируется напрямую в OBS через канал DAW (Steinberg UR22C), только на общий канал Streaming/Line, другие каналы - Voice, Music - без проблем транслируются. Решение нашел - мьютить микрофон, либо чисто настраивать канал Streaming, но хотелось бы писать все дорожки отдельно, для более гибкого монтажа/трансляции

Where can we find the complimentary manual which describes how to use the various mixer views in detail? From what I understand the streaming view on the mixer controls what the other side hears (e.g. on a discord call). Just don't know how to map my mic (input 1) to the voice channel. PS: apart from Mixer 1 and Streaming Mixer I also have a Mixer 2 on my UR44C what's that one about?
It's been transformed into a completely different device. I'm using UR24C and AXR4, and after watching this video I bought another UR44C for multi purpose use today. Rather the UR-C series is functionally better than the AXR4 because it has a multi-stream driver and even a guitar amplifier. It's nonsense! I hope AXR4 will also make such a drastic upgrade in the future.
I use my axr4 slaved to another interface with a better DSP mixer. They probably just didn't sell enough units to really keep updating it which is a huge bummer because it's great and it would be amazing to have this mixer on it!!!
Are there plugin versions of the new effects (pitch fix, delay etc.) for us to use inside our DAWs like we can with the original effects (Ch.Strip, clean, crunch, lead, hall, room etc.) ?
Hope there is mate would need that stuff to insert in cubase myself. If not I'll probably not update just yet.. the streaming only fx need to be in the daw in this way.. I could do with the new multi compressor and delay too

Hello, I am experiencing a technical issue with my interface after upgrading to version 2.1. Specifically, when I am singing, the audio cuts out intermittently as if it is on a timer. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this problem.

There is a Multi-Band-Compressor effect in the dspMixFx, and if you turn off the low band and the mid band, and adjust only the high band, then it can work similarly to a de-esser, so it can do the same job as a de-esser's job, ex.: tame the loud "S" sounds, so because of these reasons de-esser can be thought of as "High Band Only Multi-Band-Compressor".
I just noticed now that my original comment doew not appear for some reason. If you solo the Mid or the High band of the dspMixFx's Multi-Band-Compressor, then you can use it as a de-esser. I use Yamaha ur22c to record video tutorials. After I finish recording, the microphone of the video content only has the left channel. What should I do if there is no sound on the right side?
You talked very briefly about the reverb. So with this update, can you now *RECORD* / print the reverb effect, live, in real-time, so you don't have to apply reverb in post? I am talking about recording a video, for example, to later upload to RU-vid, and I want the reverb to get recorded live as I am playing my guitar. In other words, I want the reverb being applied in real-time to become part of the final recording, *not* only for monitoring purposes. Please advise!

Important feature request! Please ad a link fader and mute channels option between Mix 1 & the Stream Mix. That means the Stream Mix is linked to the Mix 1 fader moves and mutes. At the moment its a big hassle to switch back and fourth between The Mix and Stream Mix sections for monitoring the Stream Mix. Otherwise, I really like the new update a lot.
@Dom I would love a session on going from zero to hero with the UR22C (for music production). Today I simply plug a mic in and go straight to the DAW. Seems like I'm probably not leveraging it the best I could. Love the new streamer/voice call options.

I would like to use the signal from the voice channel for Discord, Zoom, in-game, etc. Unfortunately, the gate doesn't work there, only the top two effects, e.g. the channel strip effect. Does anyone know if it's possible to use the gate somehow? It works with the streaming channel, but then everything else is included, such as music that is currently playing or a game that you are currently playing. Therefore, the streaming channel is unfortunately not usable for in-game, for example. I am now helping myself by redirecting the voice channel to the Nvidia Broadcast Tool and picking up the signal from there. But a more elegant and latency-free solution would be to do it directly via the interface.
This is a fantastic update for UR-C owners (including me!). But I also have an older UR824 and I'd love to see some of these updates flowing back to the older models - please?

I've gone all-over looking for the UR816-C interface and it's gone like it never came out. What is going on here? I'm in need to replace my old UR824 but all I see is UBS driver issues with these interfaces :( And the fact that is no longer available. Even their top $$$ interface is not available. Dom! is the DM3 a solid DAW interface? It uses Yamaha USB drivers. I'm also looking around for people that has used it in this way. I DO NOT want a Presonus interface of any kind.
I recently upgraded my UR22C software to version 3, and one of the most notable features for me was the ability to split the ASIO driver into three parts: Music, DAW, and Voice. However, when I’m working in Cubase, I find that I’m unable to select anything other than the usual ASIO driver. Moreover, when I opt for the DAW driver in OBS, there is no audio output from Cubase. I came across this video where this guy effortlessly selected the DAW ASIO driver from the audio settings in Cubase, but I’m not seeing the same option. Any insights on this issue? Thanks in advance!
The Steinberg UR22C Streaming/Music Driver is just amazing !! This replaced my use for Loopback from Rogue Amoeba. I can directly record my live performance into Quicktime.
Steinberg, why it’s so complicated to register and download the drivers. What’s going on Focusrite is quick and easy, I just purchase ur44c today and it’s giving headache downloading drivers and elicense 🤦🏻♂️ can’t activate my product

This thing does not work! I'm trying to get it to make a sound through my headphones and NOTHING makes it put audio into my stream, my headphones. NOTHING I can't even get a monitor when I record on audacity. It records it, but I hear nothing. Apparently all I had to do in previous versions is hit loop back and it would put the sound into the PC. THAT BUTTON IS GONE! OK, well let's see how this guy says to fix it. OH WAIT! He's on a mac and I'm on a PC. Every single tutorial on how to fix my problem is obsolete because this is a new firmware that was apparently coded by chimps! Losing my temper over here.

When I turn on the compressor, it only affects the voice for the Streaming input, not the Input 1/2 or the Voice input. Is there a way to get the compressor to affect these as well? I want the compressor for voice call as well, not just for the stream, so AT LEAST for the Voice input, not just the Streaming input so I can send the compressed voice to the voice call (Discord, while streaming) and also record the Input 1/2 for the not compressed voice (for the local recording that I edit after the stream where I can adjust every sound source individually). So what I wish was possible it so have checkboxes for where the compressor is working: Input 1/2: ⬛ Streaming: ✔ Voice: ✔ Or however I want. Had I known it wouldn't work like this, I wouldn't have gotten this, cause the way it is now, I'll have to do some compressing in Voicemeeter like before anyway, so what's the point then?
May be great for streamers and podcasters but has made Cubase 13 pro crash regularly which is a shame(Midi is unpredictable). I loved it before firmware update and now after disconnecting it, removing all drivers on my Mac and using the Montage M as the interface, Cubase works perfectly. Hopefully Steinberg will look into this midi bug in the future so my UR-C 44 will not cause Cubase crashes
Yeah well despite the paid comments and bots. Where is the fokking limiter? Besides this video is garbage telling you that you hit the multiband and voilà no clipping and auto fatting your 1000th video about side chaining. All this is a pure lie framed as "marketing". Because of that multiband and false claims a lot of folks will definitively generate clipping. And yes there is a comp, but is it fast enough to act as a limiter? Those fancy clean UX doesn't indicate anything professional...
10:14 I have a question about the Link button that sits above the mic channel in the Mixer. Why don't you turn it on? It makes the sound richer and more spacious. Or is that wrong? I only turn it on when I have a Rode NT1000 connected.
I have installed the update and have a Steinberg URC 22 interface, but the new drivers are not showing in the menu. I still see only the Steinberg URC22 driver. Any suggestions to see all the drivers ?
Hi i have the older UR44 HW and the main problem for me with it is that when cubase is runing i cant hear the input signal from it, only when creating a project and create audio channels and all routing to monitor the inputs ,and that’s the reason why i disabled (with a workaround) the UR extension from my computer and i use the DSP mixer even when cubase is running. does the new UR-C can monitor now the inputs when cubase is running even when there is no project opened ?
It would be really nice to get an update from Steinberg on the availability Of the UR816C and the AXR4 interfaces here in the US. Online retailers are showing these products as discontinued. Is that the case? It's a pretty straight forward question that there doesn't seem to be an answer for for some highly annoying reason. I like Stenberg/Yamaha interfaces a lot. What's going on?

Moin, leider habe ich ein Bug festgestellt mit dem UR 44C. Das Gerät hat 2 HP-Ausgänge, jedoch kann ich den Effekt vom ducker nur über den Ausgang HP-2 hören und nicht über HP-1. Woran liegt das? ist HP-1 PreFader geschaltet?
Am I to understand that the way the mixer works has been revamped compared to previous versions, allowing you to open the mixer panel while Cubase is open? The previous version disables the DSPMixFX mixer panel and the parameters are made to be only available through the Cubase's own mixer. This behavior has always irked me a bit, it would be much easier to dial in those DSP FX from its own mixer.
I think that’s an option in Cubase settings, you choose if you want Cubase to take control over your interface so you can control your interface inputs and efx right from Cubase channel, or if you uncheck this option, UR-C will work independently as with any other daw…
Help. Chipboard effects don't work for me. An error comes up where it says there is no valid license, when I try to register nothing comes out since they were already registered earlier. What should I do?
I like it Dom , But I like my Steinberg UR-RT 4 , i think it is much better with these Transformers, , OI think Steinberg could or should go in that direction , adding those real analog Transformers , its just great to have that Neve sound build in .
