You seem to have a good product there. Now for the EQ V.6, forget the echo section, not needed for ham radio operation. Instead add XLR microphone input with separate preamp/compressor/noise gate for dynamic OR condenser type microphone with 48V phantom power AND separate preamp/compressor/noise gate for 8 pin stardard plug. Have also a plug for a external PTT hand or foot switch.

I"d get one just for the noise gate!

I bought this, wired for a RCI 6 pin mic, from you on eBay. I have an Icom 706KKIIG and I was wondering if there is some way I can rewire the plug that goes to the radio. It takes an Icom 8 pin rj45.

What causes it to squeal really bad when you transmit? Maybe it is pinned wrong for my setup.

I have a 7band wired for icom I would like to change it over to 4pin cobra... Is this possible and is there a wire diagram??

My unit has developed an annoying fault, at the end of transmission or giving a dead key there is a scratching and bumping sound being transmitted, sounds like a rat trying to dig itself out of a cardboard box and then banging it's head against the side bump bump.........bump...bump bump bump. Can't figure it out!
