Alan is back and hungry for a new mission! He travels to Bristol to fish alongside his good friend Jordan Dicks as they tackle the urban jungle, meet the good people of Bristol and show that carp can be caught from the most unlikely of locations. CARP....LOADS OF CARP!

It's why we spend more on carp care than our actual kit. So we can get them back in prestine condition so we can catch them when they bigger. Children should fish rather than spending money on games. Beside if you buy fishing gear you will never have cash for drugs. Well said 👍 Alen

Yeah well she got her way - the Council plan was to poison all the fish. (unless they passed EA health checks and could be moved). I don't know how many actually got moved.

I know I'm very late with this(years late ) but this video is amazing . I've been a angler since a child and this is why I wouldn't ever fish these type of places . I understand her point of view but don't agree with it and I've always fished with a touch of guilt or acceptance that it's not the most helpful thing in the world to nature (let's just be honest ). It's a bit of a battle I have with myself . But certainly loads of kids love seeing anglers and it's a case of understanding all the points of view and not attacking either perspective . Seeing the child at the end with his grandparents made me so happy. You guys dealt with this whole situation amazingly in my opinion . Great video .

i was hooked up in an urban enviroment between 2 office buildings in amsterdam, when suddenly the receptionist came to me with all the same crap Alan got thrown to him... when i finally netted the beast the workers in the other office building took notice and all came out the window cheering ..very funny situation...love your vids Alan great quality

I am a 13 gear old angler and I have been fishing for a couple of years and I am strict only Catch and release I fish as much as I can and I could not help noticing the lady saying fishing was a bad thin. But thanks to fishing I am not sitting inside all day at a computer but outside a couple hours a day and enjoying the weather. Thanks to Nash and all your incredible videos it was you that helped me with learning tactics and methods to the fishing. Thighs lines and whet nets :)

Another fantastic episode of Urban Banx guys. Fair play to Alan for not losing his rag with the miserable moaning woman. I thought he conducted himself very well and was a great advocate for angling as a whole. My only criticisms about urban banx would be that it's over too quickly and we have to wait for too long for the next adventure....LoL Great work guys, keep it up

100% respect for not only showing the lady who was against angling (you could have quite easily just edited all that out of the video!) - But, also respect for the sensible way you handled the situation. It would have been very tempting to resort to the type of sarcastic comments she was making, but instead, you conducted yourself very well & on behalf of the other 4+million anglers! You did yourself & the sport no harm whatsoever. I have a lot of time for both you, and your excellent attitude. Thanks from an angler of over 55years.

I've lived in Bristol on and off for a tally of nearly 35 years, and the docks have played a large role as it is soo central to life in Bristol. I'm also personally close to the docks having lived in a narrow boat briefly and now regularly sailing there, but this video has surprised and delighted me seeing a completely different perspective on the city. Really enoyed seeing Bristol through your eyes and the passion for your sport. With regard to Eastville park, it's purpose has always been for leisure and the stock is there to fish. Bristol welcomes you. Thouroughly enjoed seeing this, keep it up.

Well maintained with that woman. Most anglers I know are bigger conservationists that the so called "community conservation" teams. Sure, they may clean the rivers, but here at least they trod on beds (reds) like a bunch of idiots. And then they have the gall to yell at anglers. Great job Alan.

I'm 15 and have been fishing since I can remember, I live the sport and wouldn't stop doing what I love the most. That women had no clue what she was talking about, if only she knew how good of an angler you were and how you treat the fish. It's a shame that some people can ruin what we love best though; people leaving litter etc. They give anglers a bad name and then we get judged as one and that we're all the same "nature killers". Anyway well done Alan and Jordan! Can't wait for next one ;)

been following you and olly for a while now and one thing I can honestly say is I have never seen a fish being harmed or mistreated and any way shape or form by either of you, well handled with the old lady chap, I'm from south bristol myself and one thing I can honestly say is if that park was in my neck of the woods you would have had a much warmer reception and understanding of what and why you were there, highly enjoyed the video mucker nice to see someone from further a field come and give our docks a bash, and I now have a better ideal on what time roughly to fish for carp in the docks thanks again

These urban banx videos are very inspiring and have got me tackling my own urban banx in Hull. Oli's filming is top noch and alan is a credit not only to fishing but to us people who get labeled as no good chavs because of what we wear (true gent). Alan handled the situation with the old lady spot on and even made her smile :) keep it up everyone at nash and maybe see you in urban Hull one day. Thanks lads

Well done Alan, that was brilliantly handled! Another superb film, Urban Banx is head and shoulders better than anything else on the net. I smashed my PB a couple of years ago on a canal in deepest darkest Tipton in the west mid's. I was on receiving end of some of the same rubbish as well. Unfortunately, that fish along with 3 other big fish I had have all now vanished. May be if there had been a few more anglers on there this wouldn't have happened. I tried to explain this to the ignorant anti after they went but they still wouldn't have it. Well done Nash, keep up the good work!

Just cam across this and well done for keeping your cool with that lady. I've fished that place for over 30 years amd I can remeber when there was no line against fishing. And she obviously can't remeber that it was anglers money that cleaned that lake and kept the fish in good condition

Watching all these urban banx vids and carl and alexs adventures in their local lake is real inspiration to get up and go see whats around my area. So past few days ive been google earthing everything. Local canal here is not a winner and some lakes are completely empty, i found a lake and a friend says its got carp problem is its on farm land in massive woods. I may fish this for a night under camo gear.

Being a lure angler I must say I fully enjoyed this vid. Great work lads. And as for that rude woman I duno how Alan dent tell her to do one. He was being respectful n she was just being a idiot to be fair. It's great for young kids to get in to fishing. There's a lot worse things they could be doing. Angling does make a difference to people's lifes. Loved it lads !!

I'm 14 and love fishing and treat the fish with care that lady should want young people getting into fishing it teaches you abou wildlife and keep your mind occupied and helps young people stay out of trouble .i spend any money I earn on carp fishing tackle such a great sport and past time.

I've fished all my life, and I have often at times struggled with the idea that I am perhaps causing distress to animals. But also, I really, really don't believe humans are supposed to live the way we do. Something has to give. For me angling allows me to escape back to a happier time - when I was a carefree boy. It connects me to my ancestors, it reminds me that I am also an animal struggling to survive in this mad mad world. It's the duality of human nature and I believe those who accept that are ultimately happiest.

Nice one, new Urban-Banx on a Friday! sets the weekend up nicely. Defo going carping tomoz now. Top work as usual, these are some of the most inspirational and best put together bits of media around at the mo, show casing fishing better than anything on the tele by far. Fair play for letting the lady say her piece, shame that like a lot of so called environmentalists, she was a bit of a mentalist. Once again another class video well done to both of you for catching some stunners and back in the day people would of been hunting to kill at least we take care of the fish and wildlife and when we do catch fish we can be a good hand on helping them on their way if they have some sores etc. i do think she over exaggerated on what you were doing and you were causing no harm but she is entitled to her opinion just like us all. Nevertheless fishing is a sport and as long as we are respecting what we do then all is well. :)
