Out of all the whole week's looks I LOVE todays with the purple. It looks gorgeous on you and you are so talented with blending colors. i did too! the funny thing is i aaalmost bought it last week but when i searched the Sephora site i couldn't find it...then yesterday it pops up for $24 when i was browsing...makes finally owning this palette that much sweeter 😍

I just picked it up. It's being discontinued. :( they said it won't be available online or oversees. Did anyone elses package have an Important notice on it that said slowburn, savage, jilted and urban are not for use around the eye?

You are such a wonderful example for those out there who are starting out. I hope the love of makeup can inspire more of these beauty gurus that are as popular, to also do a fun challenge like this.
Here's my dilemma. Since seeing your blog posts I've been wanting to buy this palette. Such pretty looks! Doing research I realized Urban Decay was recently purchased by L'oreal. UD says it's cruelty free but they are owned by a parent company who is not. I also don't like that they continue to raise their prices on their Naked palettes. Coincidentally one price increase was after they came under L'oreal. In my opinion they have become more greedy. That's just what I think. But thank you for your effort on this challenge!
L'Oreal just acquired NYX as of mid June I believe, I had read it in Morgan Joyce's comment section on one of her makeup videos. I was not aware but with Morgan being vegan and with many of her channel followers being vegan or vegetarian as well, there was much outrage about it. It is sad and a shame... some people just have too much indifference or disinterest towards testing. Hope I helped!
Rachel Reavis actually companies and animal testing is a little complicated than that. Loreal doesnt test on animals anywhere in the world. but the Chinese govt. requires companies importing cosmetics into the country to be tested on animals prior to release in markets. so companies that sell in China are not considered cruelty free but for something like loreal that owns almost all major brands, if that side brand is not sold in China directly by them then its still considered cruelty free. last time I checked Nyx and UD are NOT sold in China so its still cruelty free.
This was a great challenge you, David & Kristen came up with. My favorite look is what you're wearing in the video. All the years I've been watching you I always thought you were beautiful and the looks you showed us in this palette really showed how beautiful you are. Congratulations on doing this challenge! I would love to see you do the confessions of a palette addict tag, or even just go through all your palettes. I want to try doing your "use every color in the palette, in one week" method because I fell like I really should get better use out of my palettes.
I really wish I had this palette. I feel like I'm the lone wolf because I look at it and know that I would use the crap out of it, lol, whereas everyone else seems to think it's too crazy. It's great to use for a pop of color with more subtle colors, and it's great to use to do an amazing bright eye look. I have been seriously getting my money's worth out of both the Lorac Pro palettes and although I would never say I have enough neutrals, I just think it's time for the electric palette to be in my life! Love all the looks you created Emily. You are super talented and I find it amazing how you can put out such well thought out and high quality videos and be 7 months (I think?) pregnant! I have 2 little boys and i forget to feed myself some days!
Emily, this challenge was so great and it was so cool to see your different looks! You should so look through your pallets and do another challenge like this with another one of your pallets. Love your videos!

I would totally do this again. Even with more basic palettes in my collection that I get in a rut of using the same shades over & over... this kind of thing really makes a person branch out! :)
emilynoel83 I think that is a good idea...to do this with more neutral palettes as well! Even with some of my neutral palettes, i tend to use the same shades for the same look. I would love to branch out more even within a palette...if that makes sense! :)

Day 3 and 5 were my favorite. I have this palette and I love it! I've been wearing mostly neutrals lately, and this has inspired me to wear it more again.
You came up with some beautiful looks from the palette. I don't know if this would be a practical choice for me at all, but I really like them as accent colors.

I'm glad you enjoyed playing with the colors!!!! This is right up my ally. I either go for a eyelid ish color shadow ( really light cream to almost white) with a bit if shimmer or really bright colors but normally just 1 color so this gave me some ideas on how to mix some colors :) thanks so much!

I loved seeing you and Kristin do this challenge. There were so many beautiful looks. A couple of years ago you did the football game eye looks. How about this fall you do eye looks based on fall candles, not the color of the candle, but based on the notes. I think that would be so fun to see.

I just want to say that you are amazing with makeup! I enjoy watching your videos but I really love this video and have see it about 100 times. I have wanted this palette since it came out but don't think I would use it to the full worth of the price, but what you do with all these looks is so cool and pretty really shows the true talent you have.
