Mel Thompson personally I liked the change up in the first looks “zoomage” lol cause for me it’s cool to see how the brush is held and maneuvered 😬😬 all and all another fantastic review and I love the looks you put together!! I think the larger pans on the UD is really cool and different. I have Sultry and don’t think I need the UD because of the similarities one buttttt I’ll def try and recreate these looks!!! I’m glad I have the ABH cause ya girl needs allll the shimmy shimmaaaassss 💃🏼✨ your the best! 🤗😘❤️
As much as I love ABH palettes, sometimes I don’t want a super metallic eye look. I know I sound crazy... but I kind of prefer the look of the urban decay palette. I think that for my every day life, if I’m in a rush for work or I just want a “normal” look, the Reloaded Palette would work better... I think I’m just going to wait until I can see it in person, swatch and decide. Thanks for the review!
I completely agree. I cannot create every day looks with sultry (probably my doing). They turn out beautiful but too sultry. I will wait to see it in person and decide. Very likely I will get it eventually
I already own the Sultry pallette, but when I first saw the new Naked on RU-vid I literally fell in love with it! (am I a "neutral" girl?! 🤣) I love the fact that it's warmer toned than the Sultry and, I might be the only one, I like UD eyeshadows better than ABH ones! Looking forward to having it here in Italy! I've noticed that you and Kelsee put out videos on the same products at the same time!! I’ve been loving my Sultry palette since it came out. I use it alone and mixed with other ABH palettes and others in my collection. I don’t think I have any need for the naked reloaded. I decluttered all my old naked palette but I still have smoky, heat and cherry but I think heat will soon be de cluttered because every look comes out the same. But thank you for this video because I’ve been waiting for this comparison.

all of the stores that sell them have this same sale. I think the have to price match or ABH sets the price across the board? If anyone is on the fence now is the time to snatch it up. I bought another since it was limited edition and I like it a lot. I may just gift it also...IDK but I couldn't pass up that price.
Lol I didn't even want this palette and now I definitely do. The photos that came out of this initially didn't do it justice. Seeing you knock out a few looks and show the palette really showed me that it has a great balance of rosey, cool, and warm tones all in one palette. It's neutral, but with a few nuances that stop it from being boring. I definitely want it now lol

Omg come on taxes momma needs this 🤞😂🔥 I've personally always liked urban decay formula over abh. That's just me. Her most recent palette I did like the shimmer but all her mattes are hecka hard to blend.- side note I have hooded eyes too

Thanks for showing how similar these were. I do notice that UD leans more warm, and the ABH leans more cool. I already have the Sultry Palette, so I don't feel the need to get the Reloaded. I always love your eye looks, and your color combinations inspire me to try something other than what I would naturally do. Thanks Mel!

Omg! I never would’ve guessed those were orchids on the UD palette until you said it. I thought they were flames. Anyway, sweet but sad story about the orchid that Puffin gave you and it following you around until your most recent move. My wedding flowers were all wildflowers with daisy focus and throughout our 20+ years together my husband gives me wildflowers. When everyone else gets roses for romantic occasions, I receive my favorites...wildflowers with daisies.

I loved your idea to swatch them directly side by side. Comparing them kind of makes me think of ice cream. Like comparing one brand of vanilla vs another brand of vanilla, or one brand of chocolate to another brand's chocolate, etc. It's almost the same, but it just comes down to personal preference. Even the price point is similar. It's not like one is $44 and the other is $129. I personally went with the UD, but I tend to like warmer tones and I like the lay out of having one row. It just seems easier on my eyes and my brain, if you know what I mean.

You explained this very well. The ABH Sultry Palette has beautiful packaging but for me it ends there. I was not drawn to this palette at all. I do love the brand and have 2 palettes but The Sultry I was not interested in. UD is another brand I love and I have 3 palettes from them. I think The Naked palette had beautiful packaging as well. Initially I didn't like it because I thought it was too similar to the Sultry. I think I am starting to like this palette more and more. A bell went off when you said one was a cool toned and the other leaned warmer. Thanks for doing this very informative video Mel because this really helped me to understand the difference.
This has really helped me to understand the difference as well. I bought my daughter the Sultry palette a few months ago but felt that the new Urban Decay seemed better suited to me. I just didn’t know why! Lol
I ordered Sultry on Friday evening as soon as I saw it on sale!!!💓👍🏼💁🏻♀️it’s not any more at Sephora!!! But it’s on sale at nordies......I’m excited to receive and play w it ;create looks😍
Hi Mel. Thanks for this comparison. I tried swatching some similar shades in the Reloaded Palette and the Born To Run Palette. Quite interesting. Formula in Reloaded seems slightly softer in a good way (imo).
Been waiting for this! Thanks so much. Every time I pop in to my local Ulta, I swatch Sultry and then I don’t buy... even though I really want a cool tone neutral palette. Maybe it’s the black and the coral shades that I won’t use... just not sure. Think I’ll wait till Reloaded hits the stores to see if it will work for me.

I have Sultry, my one and only ABH palette. I love it! Although I never use that coral shade. I do not own the OG Naked and I think Ima try to find it on sale, I like the cooler tones! I hope I find it before it’s too late.
Already have Sultry, but as an UD palette junkie, I ordered Naked Reloaded today. Love my Sultry, but even with a glitterglue, experience a lot of fallout when using the glitters.
