We take a look around the Murray Royal Mental Asylum in Perth, Scotland, originally built in 1821, this incredible building will soon be converted into apartments, let's hope they retain some of it's original features.
I was a patient at MR in 1987..very mixed feelings and memories. Some of the nurses were scarier than the patients. One in particular who I will name, Connie Mackie had no business being anywhere near mentally vunerable people. I know that now, sadly I didn't then.
I really enjoyed gaining access to these old abandoned buildings when I was growing up in Perth. One of my favourites was bridge of earn hospital. That place was unbelievably eerie. Operating theatre room was pretty much still intact when my friends and I broke in at night in the mid 2000,s . Another favourite was hillside hospital. Super spooky!!!! I was caught after my 2nd visit by the CID and they drove me back to my parents house threatening to ruin Christmas for me 😂😂
Christ, that gimble is worth it's weight in gold. Really enjoyed this, well filmed and put together. Great music too, apart from the fair ground slip up :)
