St John’s isn’t too scary if you are kayaking with experienced kayakers and you manage your risks.

@@ATySanchez I'm not an experienced kayaker is the problem!

If you can, kayak on weekdays if want to try bigger waters. Avoid most of the inexperienced weekend boaters/jet skiers

@@VISUAL-LY yes those inexperienced jet skiers mostly but have had some close calls with boats as well! Especially in the Brunswick Ga area, they will not slow down and come right at you!

So depending on tide. If water is higher, you might be able to launch behind the Ribault club on ft George. Otherwise, Alamacani, then cedar point boat ramp, then sisters creek boat ramp. In that order

Did cross my mind, but it’s not stagnant water, there’s constant tidal flow and pretty sure those fish are constantly changing locations. Especially flounder

@@VISUAL-LY If you are willing to make the drive north to Fernandina, the goffinsville Ramp and Hollypoint put you on the opposite side of Black Hammock preserve... some deep holes, where I got my pb 47in red...great trout fishing aswell as shrimp and bluecrab.. 🍻
