It's actually kinda hard to find video where Al is actually the one being interviewed hah. But anyway, you can totally see that he has kept his feet on the ground. Such a great guy.
Well as a kid, I remember getting my ass beat for saying "hell" and for the longest time, people who wanted to be speech friendly would replace the word with "heck" or say "H E double hockey sticks"... so I was lead to believe "hell" was always a swear word. If it wasn't, then that just proves people are ignorant.
im glad he dosent swear!!!!!!! so many people ruin there career with the rong word said............. such as swearing and no one can get tired of al because he dosent SWEAR!!!!!!!!!!
Also, if you listen to the very end of "Phony Calls" they cut it out, but you know he was going to say "ass." It's like WAY is deliberately mocking the extensive use of profanity in today's music... its great! lol
I don't mind that clearly neither interviewer really knows who Weird Al is--they probably weren't responsible for booking him, and interviewers can't always get people they're fans of--but they could at least have done a modicum of research to find out the stuff that's already common knowledge. I can't imagine how bored he must get, getting asked the same half-dozen questions in every single interview. It's a wonder he hasn't stopped doing interviews altogether.
I thought this was one of the better interviews i've seen, they didn't seem too rude and they were all about his work and what he's about. as if they were accually interested. not the interviewers now that just have a paper of questions and want to awnser them and get out.
