You have been leading voices of reason and clarity throughout this dense urban conflict in which the IDF has created a new, aspirational standard for the world, taking constant care to protect civilian life and protected objects through supererogatory harm mitigation strategies. Israel has gone above and beyond legal and moral standards of necessity, distinction, proportionality and precaution, exercising more restriction than any other military in history. Hamas reverse engineers every law or legal obligation to use to their advantage; every protected site is coopted as a military site, and has purposefully blurred boundaries between combatants and non-combatants. All rational thinkers are left with an abiding impression that ethical code and standards with which individual soldiers are concerning themselves in the IDF in unparalleled. The overwhelming sentiment of IDF is to protect civilians, whereas that of Hamas is to kill civilians.

I am thankful the IDF quickly learned to adapt and overcome the myriad of Hamas tunnels. We all knew the tunnels were extensive, but seeing footage of them and the overlay maps show the terrorist fortifications were far more extensive than previously believed. It looked like Hamas was going to be able to inflict massive casualties on the IDF troops. But, the drones, dogs, and bulldozer activity have saved soldiers’ lives as opposed to constantly falling into Hamas kill boxes.

It is suicidal for the IDF to give Hamas their plans, and to give supplies to Gaza which mainly go to Hamas! ONLY Hamas and complicit civilians are to blame for suffering in Gaza, as well as in Israel!!

Liars get more clicks, so you're in the wrong business if you're trying to be popular. But joking aside, you're doing a great job -- both of you.

Not an English native speaker, I never fully understood the phrase "no good deed goes unpunished", but the way in which Israel intervention is judged by malevolent *and* irrational/uninformed subjects really helps my understanding. A more careless war might have ended by now, and the instinct of the "war fatigue" doesn't take that into account. As it often happens, ideology takes roots in our bad cognitive instinct (and misinformation/bad propaganda, but that is self evident).

The basic fact is that when an army or police force has to act to prevent murder or rapes it has to act with the force and abilities it has at hand .. no point in demanding that they should be at a higher level or better prepared when immediate action is needed now with the forces at hand.

The Palastinians!!! *All of the Celebrated October 7th. *Most of them Support Hamas. *The Majority of them Elected Hamas. *Many of them activly joined Hamas on Oct 7th. Which part of this make them "innocent"?

Didn't Isrsel told the people of North of Gaza to leave south in the first months of the war? If they disnt there is 2 options They are either Hamas Or they CHOOSE to be a human shield for Hamas Either way it put it on them if they get hurt.

Correction- less than 1 Million Arabs in Gaza.

The obnoxious ignorance of those proclaiming “genocide!” or “famine!” or “murder of innocents!” has to be a wilful one at this stage. It is not a strenuous task to learn what actually happened at Al Shifa hospital.
