@Inês Constante You’re not a horrible person. It happens sometimes but that doesn’t mean that the person that isn’t in love with the other is bad. I don’t know you but I don’t think it is bad to not love someone else anymore. If you haven’t told her, then you should tell her as soon as possible (if you are really sure that you don’t want to be with her anymore). If you have already then I hope you both are okay and don’t have anything against each other. I haven’t been in a relationship but I know it’s bad if people end in bad terms. It hurts both people so if I ever do have a boyfriend and I don’t love them anymore, I’ll try to end it on good terms so none of us hate the other. I don’t know if what I am saying make sense. I’m just typing as I think. Anyway you should just be honest to yourself and if you are sure that you don’t love them anymore, you should end it before they get their hopes high.

fAshSon I think it's best done in a mean way because then at least you can have a reason to dislike the person and get over them. If you get let down easy there's no closure it just feels like you weren't good enough even though everything was perfect.

I've been in a painful situation recently. The person I liked confessed to me. I saw this coming for a while and I would've confessed to him first if I wanted to. But I held back for such a long time because college applications are coming up, and I don't want to juggle a relationship. I've worked too hard the past years to be distracted now. I took a night to think about it before I rejected him, and believe me when I say that night was torture. The next day, I gave him a very simple answer because if I said more I would've fell apart. It took everything to not cry when I saw his face. I wanted to hug him like he's a scared little child, but I thought about what I worked for these past years, and when he questioned why I'm going against both of our feelings, I answered in a more serious tone because I know that he has been working just as hard. It's been a week now. I thought rejecting him will free me from emotional burden, but it only dragged me down. I don't know where to go to for release, but this song gave quite a similar message I've trying to give myself. I don't love him.

I strongly think that this song should be at a certain point in the korean drama "Queen for Seven Days". The comment section reminds me of a quote I heard in a Tedtalk, before monogamy used to be one person for life, nowadays it's one person at a time. I think love is extremely rare, most of the time people mistake infatuation for love. You can't unlove someone. But infatuation fades with time. Also IMO we tend to go after the things we can't have. So if someone hurts us, we tend to cling to our feelings for them. But when we get loved too much, we tend to question our own feelings. That's why commitment is really important in a relationship. "Love" isn't enough. Sometimes you have to actively put effort in your relationship even when you don't feel like it. If that doesn't work, take some space. Sometimes that helps us to remember how important our partners are. And if nothing works, please be honest with your partner. Ignoring them only hurts them more. And remember that they might feel hurt but it's much better to be honest otherwise the cut can be deeper.

After breaking up with my boyfriend in july/august of this year, I would listen to this song all the time. I would constantly beat myself up for falling out of love with him. It took me several months to realize if I hadn't done it, I would be miserable. I didn't realize at the time the things he did to me wasn't okay. I blamed myself a lot for not speaking up. It took a while to realize I was only there because I was his toy, nothing more.

Falling out of love? I don't wanna think that there's such thing that made you unloved one person. When we're loving someone it's hard to see or hear them suffering from a pain that you cause. It breaks you apart knowing you hurt someone you love the most. It's hard to say I don't love you anymore just because you can't handle all the obstacles you're going through with them. When you love them, you'll just keep loving them endlessly even something they make you feel sad and lonely. Waking up knowingly the person you love don't care about you anymore, it hurts cuz you have a hint that his falling out of love with you.

As someone who experienced both perspectives I say it's equal, if not the person who is leaving gets the heavier weight. Getting left unexpectedly is temporary but a sharp pain. But being the one to leave, you built up the relationship with the person only to leave and having a constant thought at the back of your head that your relationship even as friends could never be the same. It haunts you for way much longer. It still does to me till this day.

If you fall out of love with someone, its painful and ending things are difficult but eventually you’ll move on quicker because your feelings have already. Meanwhile, if you still love that person, then it’ll be harder for you to deal with especially since you’ve probably noticed signs already. Watching someone fall out of love with you and but staying until they break it off because you love them is truly difficult.
