Finally you are back ! I’ve been waiting for this 😀

Thanks! Yeah, I’ve been having some pretty major issues on my end: hardware issues (faulty Mac Mini that had to be replaced), camera acting up, and oh yeah, I’m moving cross country and starting school again. Fun times! Thanks for the warm welcome. I’ll try to stay on schedule, but for now, I’m back on my iPad until I get my new Mini.

Great video overall, subbed! About the lights: You're sitting next to a window and you have a monitor in front of you, both reflected off the bookshelf behind you. My suggestion would be to either cover that, shoot somewhere else where there's consistent light and no reflections and lock the brightness / exposure via software if possible. Some relatively cheap diffused lights in front of you would also help.

Unfortunately, that just a case of “work with what you’ve got.” In the middle of a move now, so maybe the next place can be arranged to ge better. Thanks for watching, and for the advice!

Well if they are too tight and give you a headache they're basically a 0. I had a pair of skullcandys a few years ago and I hated wearing them cause they hurt my ears. I finally gave them away when I realized how much I avoided them. Headphone comfort is number one in my book.

I just found them at the store where I work at for £60 but I wear glasses so I don't know if it's worth getting plus I've heard some people say they break after a while. Any opinions? Should I go for it and buy them?
@NorbReviews

I can’t speak to their longevity since I returned mine due largely to the issues here. They did get great a great overall sound and bass, and I struggle to think of something at that price that would accomplish the same. I’m honestly not sure what to recommend. It’s a good price, yes, but I don’t know how long before you’d have to buy a new pair. If you’re ok taking that risk, then go for it.

I have one, and indeed, the choice of materials made by the manufacturer was inappropriate. Headband cracks fairly quickly and glue used to make the cushions lost adesive properties even quicker in a hot and humid climate.

They is a new slightly more expensive Adidas version with a cool design I may give them a go because I trust Adidas. I always forget to charge my current headphones and end up carrying them while they are dead and useless

I just saw the Adidas ones recently, too! I wanted to pick that pair up to test. If you get a chance, when you get yours, I’d love to get your thoughts.

I have Beats Solo 3 but they broke a few days ago after using them for 7 years; I do like a minimalist stylish pair of headphones and a deep sound (hence the beats) and I have owned Urbanista before a long time ago, how do these compare to Beats solo 3? I probably wont use ANC much or at all.
@NorbReviews
@NorbReviews Год назад
I liked these MUCH better than the Beats Solo 3, both in comfort and style. They’re heavier, but not by much. The overall quality is an issue, with my biggest question being the random(?) shut offs. Still, even with that, I personally would pick these over the Solo 3, especially for sound.

Is the headband part adjustable
@NorbReviews

As in the vertical fit? Yes, but the clamping force is tight.

Yeah I'd get a replacement and try again you may have just fallen victim into the expected failure rate , because that definelty doesn't sound right

When it comes to the powering issue, I agree, but I thought it was important to point out that my unit had these power issues. But ultimately, what doomed them for me was the comfort issue. If a pair of headphones is so tight it gives me headaches, if it’s so tight that I don’t want to put them on again after taking them off, that pair is a non-starter. Ultimately, that was THE biggest flaw with these

how is the sound compared to AirPods Pro ?
@NorbReviews
@NorbReviews Год назад
Less detailed, SIGNIFICANTLY more bass-heavy, especially the ultra low bass. It’s a fun sound, great for pop, hip hop, and lofi, but the AirPods Pro are a better all-arounder and will be better for jazz, classical, and indie/folk. That said, they might pair well with each other, one for discrete portability, the other for other times.

Do these connect to OSX or Windows and still have all functionalities?

@@NorbReviews Thanks for the reply! I was looking into these. I've got a macbook for work and an asus android phone and want to use the headphone for both. I've heard of a lot of connection issues with bluetooth headphones, they all seem to be specifically made for mobile devices and not laptops.

EDITED BECAUSE I WAS CONFUSED ABOUT THE QUESTION @TrikkeSan - If your phone has LDAC, consider the Sony XM4, which gives a good value for the dollar. If your phone doesn’t do LDAC, the Sony XM3 might be just fine. You can also consider the Sennheiser Momentum 3 or PXC 550-II: both have excellent sound, good features, and have both AAC and the full range of aptX codecs for best sound. All this said, try the AirPods Max First if you can. You might get a pleasant surprise!
@TrikkeSan

@@NorbReviews unfortunately, the airpods are way out of budget for me, i'm too poor for the apple ecosystem :) So for me, it seems i'm looking at either these urbanista's (because i can get a good deal), or the sony xm3. I'll also have a look into the sennheisers you mentioned.

@TrikkeSan - MY APOLOGIES! Because of the way the RU-vid Studio app works, I thought I was responding to the video about the Apple AirPods Max! My sincere apologies!!! The Urbanistas can connect to both MacOS and Android, no problem, but I was not happy with the way connectivity worked when you were using multiple devices. For a good sound at a decent price, check out the SoundCore Life Q35 or Q30. They won’t get the same level of rumble, but they’ll be excellent. If you want that bass rumble, go with the Skullcandy Evo, unless you need active noise canceling. If you do, check out the Sony WHXB900N, which are designed for a good amount of bass and give you most of the features of the Urbanista Los Angeles. (Except the solar power thing, which is awesome.) Again, my sincere apologies on my confusion. I should have been more careful when responding.

Do not buy this headphone if you are looking for a durable product that survives daily use. The material used in the construction of the arc/headband and in the cushions ist not durable. The glue used to make the flexible membrane that covers the foam of the cushions is not suitable for hot and humid climates. Glue lost adesive properties and the cushions broke apart. The material used for the arc/headband also do no support hot and humid climates. Headband broke when applying the force required to deform the arc to put the headphone on the head. Just another consumer product that is ready for the trash after the warranty period, at least in hot and humid condictions. It may work in Sweden, but not in hot und humid climates such as Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia, ... and the likes. Yery unsatisfied.

is this better or bose qt 45
@NorbReviews
@NorbReviews Год назад
Depends what you want. Comfort and good sound? Bose. Deep, rumbling bass and solar power? These. FWIW, I don’t own these anymore, but use my QC45’s regularly. As for rumble, consider the Sony WHXB910N, which is way more comfortable than these, with similar sound.
