I'd very much like to do more urbex stuff, but as I don't know anyone else interested and have limited time I'm a bit stuck. This one is pretty local to me and you can literally just walk right in via any one of at least 3 open (and sometimes missing entirely) doors.
A little history of the business. . . .
Incorporated as a Limited company on 4th August 2009
It certainly won't have been helped by the Covid stuff and you can see assorted notices throughout the building about 'social distancing'. Whilst the restrictions were finally lifted on 19th Jan 2021 the damage had almost certainly already been done and the last known active date (based on a calendar on the wall) was 17th Jan 2022.
At a special resolution meeting on 22 / 2 / 22 the directors agreed to place the business into voluntary liquidation.
Final Gazette notice appeared on 7th March 2023
Dissolved 5th July 2023
Please remember that urbexing can be dangerous - this building has literally thousands of gallons of highly toxic chemicals still there - Sodium Hydroxide and Hydrochloric Acid will both, in the words of the late, great Terry Pratchett - 'seriously inconvenience' you.
