Ulster have a very similar regular season jersey every year but like to get quite creative with their European jersey! I don’t think many or any teams change their jerseys so much for the champions cup
My favourite jersey of all time is the Lions jersey from 2016, not the main jersey but the black one with the skyline. Just love the black and gold contradt
Love your passion for rugby stash! Also pleased to see Glasgow Warriors back on top, if only for jerseys! That being said my favourite current jersey is the Fiji XVs home jersey, also got a nice Racing 92 sweatshirt by Nike as well which is pretty cool!
Personally I didn’t think the Lion’s jersey was the worst but I suppose I haven’t been following them as long as you have so I don’t know their personal colours
I've had two Stormers jerseys over the years, they usually look slick, (and I'm from Ulster) A simple DHL without the big yellow background would make this years much better. Ulster's away shirts, black, red and white stripes (2002-2004 and 2011-2012) are my favourites. Usually our training tops, t-shirts, fleeces etc. are nice to wear and make up for pretty bland home shirts. Also have an Auckland Blues 2007, it's still looks good today except I've got too fat to fit in it... hahaha
PS you should do a 'most hideous shirt' from over all competitions, in say the last decade. There have been some shirts with about 40 sponsors on them, that just hurt your eyes.
Is there any chance we can see an away URC jersey ranking. I find away kits are more creative than home kits. In my opinion the dragons is the worst because the black isn't as nice as the Sharks or Ospreys and it is slathered in sponsors.
Once a Sharks fan - always a Sharks fan, and the jersey preference go with that. I also have a preference for the black jerseys until the international season starts. Then it is green and gold! The Edinburgh jersey is a good one too!
Leinster have had some naff shirts, the unicorn jizz, the bottom half harp, the workman's dayglow training top looking thing, and the white shouldered monaghan GAA one but the also have the best of all the navy blue Ogham writing one. This one is OK, the munster orange Jersey looks cat and the Glasgow is gorgeous...
£499 for the Sharks jersey 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you can buy a decent 55" telly for that lol Great video mate 👌👍 I would have had Edinburgh or Stormers first (unbiased Edinburgh lad lol) and our cousins from the west of Scotland third!
@@TwoCentsRugby I’ve always liked the Stormers top! But I really like the Edinburgh colours now, the orange sets the dark blue of nicely for me (I maybe a tad biased tho lol)
I also like hooped jerseys. I actually prefer the more traditional Western Province jersey over the Stormers jersey. The Bulls jersey also looks nice to me and then my favourite from this list is probably Edinburgh.
As a Lions supporter I agree. Further, that two colour thing where the front is one colour and the back another colour can be so confusing when watching a game. I have two kids studying for a Batchelor of Arts and it is so interesting when they talk of how a piece of art has an influence on how people perceive a situation. For instance simple marketing. The Sharks have always had a great marketing team. The Lions - nothing. Literally nothing.
As a Blues and All Blacks supporter by default, Mark won't admit it in public, but I think he's a secret closet fan of the Sharks! 🙈That's why he was upset when he learnt that his son is actually a Bulls fan! 😂
The Bulls jersey was R600.00 on release on the Bulls app and was on sale on the app over the last week for R250.00. Got to know where to buy it for the best deal.
I'm a bit of a Clobber Snob, I favour certain Brands and Styles, so virtually every club/franchise jersey in the last ten years have been (imho) crap in look and quality! The exceptions being Bristols 2020/21, the 'Landers one that TwoCents has! It's ADIDAS, and therefore cool to start with! As for these, the Benetton is ok, and the Ospreys is nicely understated. I like the the Glasgow design, but I like Tartan and it's gone! As an Edinburgh boy, I have to say the current jersey is, not bad!(not a fan of orange)
Mate collars🤣 But I have to agree the old Dragon shirts were lush! Scarlet's logo is deffo the best one in the URC but l am biased😃 but the overall shirt is just ok! For me Zebre is a great shirt but you have to move on from black shirts🤣, in my humble opinion Glasgow's, Edinburgh, Ospreys and Dragons were the same meh at best!!! My own taste😂
Hang on; Munster lose to Toulouse on penalties in the Champions Cup 1/4 Munster lose to Ulster badly in the URC 1/4 Munster lose most of their senior coaching staff and then Two Cents says the jersey is shite?! You couldn't have given us a little boost?? 😉
A mixed reaction of the 5 SA teams that got confirmed in the champions and challenge cup for next season. I'm confused with the cheetahs because they have not playedan international league since pro14.
They are there on invitation so didn't formally qualify. To me it means there's a decent chance they may not be invited in future. It will probably depend on how they go.
Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. I would say Leinster European jerseys is the one I like the most out of all The U.R.C teams this season. This from a Glasgow Warriors fan.
I was actually surprised to see the jerseys from close up ... THAT's how unimpressive I believe most are. My biggest gripe is the unsightly random "splatterings" of sponsor names and logos. Just absolutely horrible, as far as I'm concerned. All of those jerseys would be okay to beautiful if NO names and logos were on them. Apart from the Stormers (the traditional blue and white hoops), no other jersey actually has a distinctive, "trade mark" appearance. And as a Lions fan (formerly Transvaal in the days I started following them in the 70s), my heart is actually rather sore about how they've lost their "identity". And no Mark, Transvaal/Lions actually have never really been red, but white with red trimmings. The "traditional" jersey was white with a red collar and a broad red band across the chest and onto the arms. Beautiful. If I have to choose though, I'll go for Cardiff (3rd), Connacht (2nd) and Edinburgh as the hands-down winner. By far the neatest jersey and I sort of like the colours too. Have a good one mate!
I don't like Ireland's "green" at all (looks kinda washed-out), but as far as I'm concerned the most beautiful jersey is the Boks' green-and-gold. The Springbok is just on the wrong breast now for woke political reasons.
Of course, they're _all_ lovely jerseys! No they're not, they're all manky. I don't think I would ever wear one of the new generation of shirts. Either you don't have the physique for it and look ridiculous, or you do and you look like a show-off.
