Just too many rappers, and other nonessential musicians are waiting to be inducted. The rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame is a no hurry to induct rock ‘n’ roll.
The first Real Live Band I saw in my teens. Byron looked like a God when he walked on stage in Manchester. Have seen some good front men since but Byron was something else.
I see you runnin' - don't know what you're runnin' from Nobody's comin' - what'd you do that was so wrong? Look back and turn back - look at yourself Don't be afraid just look at yourself If you need assistance - or if all you need is love There's no point in hiding - tell me what your frightened of You've got a friend just look at yourself Don't be afraid just look at yourself
Gary Thian was a bass monster, such a gift! Look what he was doing with hips and guitar on the stage, what a charisma. Unlike other bass players he never stood somewhere behind
@@Jermeister12 Hello cousin, how is our uncle Steve, he was a roadie with the band Ten Years After?😆 I really saw all the bands from that time live if they still existed in the 80s. Unfortunately I was too young for my absolute favorite artist, I would have loved to see Jimi Hendrix live.
@@jaegermeister1968 I have a Cousin Steve😀 The Cousin joke is you're jagermeister 😀 I'm jermeister😀😀Get it😄 Thanks to a woman that is probably the worlds only Satanic deadhead😆 She had seen the skit from Saturday night live .I was cleaning the break room she came in and did the whole speil like Rob S😀 I liked it .It's been my nickname ever since. I love TYA I have several recordings😀😀
DAMN!!! These guys knew what they were doing.... Stage theatrics, extended jam sessions, Everyone is dancing! This is what happens when music isnt overshadowed by the artists twitter replies
Indeed. Real performers. In this era, this was real music my friend. Steppenwolf and even early Chicago were in the know. Today, unfortunately music is fake, performers puppets, and well I will leave it at that. My opinion. don't hate.
The raw talent that was on display with this band and others like it all gone now mostly. Today's music if you can call it that just makes me scratch my head and wonder what the heck happened?
Back in 1972 I thought I saw them at the Whisky a Go Go in LA, but, now I can not find that they played there, lol, I listened to them a lot, and went to the Whisky, so it is possible that I put it into my head I saw them there. I can remember the stage, and was surprised that people were dancing without partners, so I started doing that too, that was quite a great concept, to be free to dance in public, if I had a partner or not! Love to all.
I saw them fronting for Mason profit.early 70s...no one had heard of them.when Uriah came on everyone was stunned and overjoyed!! Didn't expect such an amazing performance!!!!!!
i believe u.heep is the 4th british hardrock band i gotta think along recently. l.zep, D.purple, B.sabbath, and they. there are soso many albums and then i enjoy these music
With all due respect, the audio is from Birmingham 1973 live, and the video is from Tokio Japan the same year. Good video work, as nothing better was available. And you can tell how close the two live performances were, that the video edition came up almost perfect. One of the best hard rock bands for the time being, and way underrated. But we, heepsters, keep it in our hearts.
