Urtopia Review : Carbon Connected eBike  

Nice review, well produced. I received my Urtopia last week. It rides well, but the software crashes (lights/sounds no longer work), the promised location tracking isn't there (no eSIM / data functionality without Bluetooth), and it arrived with some missing small parts. Lets see what their service can do.

Sleek and light weight, nice features too.

They missed an opportunity here. Instead of spokes, they should've used a carbon fiber wheel. I don't believe it would've added weight. Even had it, it would've been another level of no maintenance.

Update! after the app OTA/Firmware update the bike is everything I could have dreamed of! Sorry for not having much faith and patience but the guys at Urtopia really came through! Again I am so grateful for the update! The bike is even faster than 20mph!

Instructions says do not leave battery on the bike for long periods yet you people saying battery drains.

I'm very disappointed in this bike. I finally received it 2 days ago after ordering it in Dec 2021. On my first ride I found out the hard way that this bike cannot take even a moderate sized hill. It has no gears so you can't down shift to keep your petals turning faster, and the power system stops working if you are not turning the petals. It then becomes a huge burden to try to get up the hill. Hills that I easily traversed on a non-bike are now impossible. Not being able to gear it down is a fatal flaw unless you will only be riding on flat terrain.

Beware...the USA version bike does not go 20mph also the battery drains if left on the bike even while the bike is off. Trust me I have the bike
